The New Wineskin Is Not New, but An Ancient Pattern

Kingdom League International (KLI) is a new wineskin that is mobilizing the body of Christ as the army of the Lord city by city.  It is a covenant keeping people passionate about presenting the gospel of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ in love, with power and strategic wisdom.

Often the term “new wineskin” refers to a new structure, new church government or a new way of doing things.  Jesus taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”  As we bring heaven to earth, we see things new to us, but not new to God.  In fact, new things stem from ancient heavenly truths.  For example, God told Moses to make everything according to the pattern shown him on the mountain.  This pattern reflected what was in heaven.  The pattern was new to the Israelites, but it was not new to God.

I have said that KLI is a new wineskin.  What I mean is that KLI is a structure new to us and the typical American church.  But it is not new to God.  It is based upon His ancient patterns and the eternal truths of the kingdom.

Characteristics of this New Wineskin

The Church is the people not a building in which they meet.

We emphasize the preeminence of the gospel of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our church government reflects the apostolic model established in Acts, Ephesians, 1st Timothy and Titus versus the structures of civil government or business.

We have reset proper jurisdictional boundaries with civil government so that we are properly aligned with Jesus Christ, who is our authority.  This alignment positions the Church, as it was at the founding of this nation, to fully utilize all of the rights and protections provided by the First Amendment.

Our leaders are servants laying the foundation for others to achieve their destinies.

We drive authority and responsibility to the lowest level.

We build Kingdom relationships as we co-labor toward kingdom objectives.  Strategic action with purpose and relationships are both important.

We believe that every believer is called to be a minister.  We seek to equip the called and to commission the equipped.

Our leaders lead by example.

Our unity is expressed through consistent, coordinated, strategic, corporate prayer and action church by church, city by city and region by region.

We expect results not excuses.

We put faith in action mod are motivated by love and presented with wisdom.

Distinctiveness of KLI's Structure

The KLI's ARC is a strategic resource center, with a three-fold purpose.  It facilitates 24/7 prayer.  It operates as an expression of the Church by connecting many local congregations and house churches in a city or region.  It forms 12 strategic councils of leaders representing the 7 spheres of society and the five-fold ministry.

      1.  1Church1Day mobilizes 24/7prayer in a city with the goal of involving at least 31 churches which take responsibility for one day per month.

       2.  The 1Church1Day/CONECT system connects local churches within cities and the Church in regions to build the wall of prayer, facilitate the watch, and gather spiritual intelligence.

      3.  Twelve councils of leaders are chosen from among local churches, where their characters and gifts have been proven.  These councils are like strategic think tanks for developing prayer and action strategies.  They help the Church execute these strategies to transform society through the presentation of the gospel of the kingdom.
