He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Psalm 91:1-2
I just met with my good friend Greg Daley. He is the bishop/overseer of the International Fellowship of Ministries. We discussed a number of things about the emerging apostolic this morning. As I drove home this phrase ran through my mind "he who dwells.... abides in the secret place of the most high." Dwell comes from the Hebrew word "yashab" and Strongs Concordance says it means to; sit down as a judge, in marriage or in ambush, to dwell, and to settle. Abide comes from the Hebrew word "luwn" and Strongs says it means to: stop, to stay overnight, to stay permanently, to abide, continue, to dwell, to tarry all night. Recently I attended a conference where Paul Keith Davis spoke. I always appreciate hearing other prophetic voices that reinforce what God has been showing me. I confess, on one hand it is very encouraging but on the other, it also frustrates me because I wonder, "why do so few seem to see or hear?" Lord, am I not communicating well? What can I do to make it easier for people to hear what you are saying? Back to the point of this article.
Paul Keith spent over 30 minutes describing what the Lord showed him about Apostolic Resource Centers (ARCs) and it sounded so very similar as to what the Lord showed me click here to learn more about ARCs. Amos 3:7, surely God does nothing unless He reveals it to His servants the prophets (prophets PLURAL). That was encouraging. He also mentioned how the Feasts that the Jews celebrate in 2015 would be marked by lunar and solar eclipses. Now, I found that very interesting as I've seen God use signs and wonders in the heavens for several years to mark the message He gave me to steward (click here). God used the signs to mark His message. The most important thing is not the sign, but the author of the sign and His message. Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. Here is what I found when I compared the Feasts schedule for 2015 to NASA's lunar and solar eclipse calendars. Matthew 25:1-7
"Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!' NKJV Note that the bridegroom comes in the darkest hour. The question is, are you prepared to meet Him? Are you prepared to meet our Lord Jesus, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I don't mean have you prayed the sinners prayer. I mean, do you know Him and does He know you? Do you have an intimate, daily, personal relationship with our Lord? Are you prepared to meet Him, or will He say, "I never knew you?" We need to be prepared practically AND spiritually. This will be the worst of times and the best of times for some. The Lord has shown me some of the things to come and what He asked us to do. That's why we've formed a Kingdom League, why we are working on the ARC, and why we are offering "Are You Prepared." However, I'd like to encourage you to take the time to hear John Paul Jackson. He is a proven prophetic voice on a national and international level. I love this comparison found in Wade Taylor's book "Unlocking the Mysteries of the Kingdom" page 60.
I had the opportunity to minister with Pastor Ken Hutcherson (Antioch Bible Church) and Pastor Shahram Hadian (Truth in Love Project) regarding taking a stand for marriage in our state. It was a powerful time of truth combined with prayer and a challenge for the Church to arise. This even was hosted Selah Covenant Church and MC'd by Michele Stroble.
After the event Michele shared with me an article she had just written for the Christian Community News which serves Central Washington. It was an article that shared the testimony of how this group in Yakima spearhead by Linda Isaella mobilized 24/7 prayer in their community targeting among other things CRIME. They are setting an EXCELLENT example of what it takes to occupy the Mountain of the Lord's House of Prayer for All Nations (Isa. 2:2, Mic. 4:1-2, and Isa. 56:7) in a city and a region.
A couple of nights ago a friend (Poster) posted an article about "How the Army Silenced Catholic Chaplains." Another person (Postee) responded saying you could not trust Fox News as they are extremely biased. Poster asked which part of the story was inaccurate. Postee responds that the news organization is all about discrediting the president. Poster responds and again, what exactly is inaccurate about the article. Remember, it is about how the Army was handling the Chaplains religious freedom which brings into question the First Amendment Rights (freedom of religion and speech). Postee responds talking about the pill, birth control and choice. Poster responds again, what exactly was inaccurate about the article.
Then I entered the conversation because I had first hand experience interacting with active duty chaplains a couple of years ago and their great concern about the military's policy when it came to the use of Jesus name. The First Amendment is being trampled on. The article mentioned did not surprise me because it's been trending that way for years. Postee's response went all over the place and seemed to talk about every thing but the original issue. They never did address what was inaccurate in the report. They did not know, neither did they express any concern with the truth. It was all about their opinion which included a liberal amount of references to President Obama. Which by the way, neither I nor the Poster ever mentioned. The Postee spoke of how the church hated, the Vietnam War, choice, birth control, etc. Then said that I was wrong about the controversy about Jesus name. She "knew that for a fact." I responded with links to 3 articles I found and included my personal testimony. I was accused of lying and hating our president. In the midst of all this I introduced Jesus and what He had done for them. That's one of the main reasons I even get on Facebook. It's an opportunity to share about our Lord. I also want to be a proclaimer of truth. Have you ever experienced this kind of behavior? Zecheriah 10:3b - For the LORD of hosts will visit His flock , The house of Judah , And will make them as His royal horse in the battle.
This is a powerful scripture regarding transformation and God's design. It deals with a revelation of the Good Shepherd and the Lord of Hosts (Armies). God's nature is complete! Everything is contained in Him. Hebrews 10:7 say " Then I said, ‘ Behold, I have come — In the volume of the book it is written of Me — To do Your will, O God. ’”. Everything is contained in Jesus and when He ascended on high He distributed gifts. Of those five gifts in Ephesians 4:7-11 one was a pastor and another an apostle. God designed each of these gifts to perform certain functions; one acts like a shepherd who gathers a flock, feeds them, cares for them, waters them and makes them lie down and restores their soul. The apostle was designed like an admiral or a general who musters a troop for war. The wicked flee when no one pursues, But the righteous are bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1 NKJV
This short but inspired phrase contains an exceptional key: the righteous are as bold as a lion. It provides keen insight into the mystery of the weakness we see demonstrated in the Church today. The lack of power demonstrated today testifies of our carnality. The primary reason for this lack of power is directly related to a genuine lack of holiness. I received an email from one of our supporters talking about praying for a high level government leader. They were trying to do the right thing in praying for them but observed that their words were almost always eloquent: a powerful communicator. However, they often did not do what they said. I replied:
Thank you and it reminds me of 2 Corinthians 11:13-14 13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. The root word for deceit is to decoy; compare 1185 ); a trick (bait), i.e. (figuratively) wile: — craft, deceit, guile, subtilty. Good deception is always clouded wi copius elements of truth so as to sneak in deception! Saying is one thing but the actions are truly what counts and communicates what is really meant |
