![]() There are seasons of time and cycles of life. The Bible says in Daniel 2:20-21; "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. NKJV Seasons and cycles are marked by constant changes but there is one thing that never changes: our Lord! Hebrews 13:8 says; "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." NKJV Our world and this nation has entered into a new season. The Church has entered a new season. What was powerful and worked 30 years ago seems to be changing as the Church moves from one who seeks to be entertained to a Church who seeks to "be engaged."
The seasons change and the cycles of life for individuals, families and organizations continue but one thing never changes and that is our God and His love and eternal plan for humanity. He wants His gospel of the kingdom presented in power and that is the Church's primary function. However, the change of season requires a change in methodology and the cycles of life mean that there is are new leaders coming on the scene for this new season. The assignment of the Church never changes but the method of reaching society and presenting the gospel of the kingdom does. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 & excerpts through verse 8 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted... a time to heal... a time to break down... a time to build.. a time to laugh... a time to cry... a time to gain... a time to lose.. a time to keep silent.... a time to speak... a time to war and a time for peace. Here are some of the changes I see: Since 2003 there have been a variety of prophetic words regarding Washington State and "whirlwinds." I believe God gave me some wisdom as to how to respond through a strategy formerly called Operation Rolling Thunder and now called 1Church1Day. Why do I think that? It is because of the number of times tornadoes or winds over 75 miles per hour have accompanied either the delivery of or application of the strategy God gave me to steward over the last 12 years. Not only have these signs followed me but they have followed others who presented the same strategy. In addition, we've seen many measurable reproducible results that speak to transformation in all 7 spheres of society as well. The signs are not the main thing. The main thing is the word of God that the signs point to. Bottom line, God wants what David did on MT Zion in the Tabernacle of David restored in these last days. It is the key to the end time harvest (Acts 15:16 & Amos 9:11). The strategy (1Church1Day click here) God gave me to steward is based upon this revelation and provides congregations in cities/counties/states with a simple reproducible way for them to do what David did in his city. When you combine this with the May 2 event in Vantage Washington hosted by Rosie of the Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network with James Nesbit where he released another word about the whirlwinds and the plumbline as well it provides context for this 8 minutes of revelation God encouraged me to share with you as to how the Church can respond with wisdom to the whirlwinds God is releasing in the Northwest. ![]() On Saturday May 9th we hosted our quarterly 1Church1Day event called "Connecting for Power." It's a time of teaching and a time where we glean wisdom and counsel from leaders representing the 7 spheres of society (church, business, government, media, education, healthcare and the family). We began with 2 hours worth of training on "Dream Interpretation" from a man (Ross Hanby) discipled by John Paul Jackson the founder of Streams Ministries. This was followed by a presentation of the status of 1Church1Day in Washington. Then I facilitated a meeting whereby we solicited wisdom from the 7 spheres as to how we (1Church1Day) needed to proceed. Then we (ministers in the audience) prayed strategically and ministered prophetically to many. Click here for the teaching and council meeting. Testimony - How Strategic Prayer & Councils Worked Together On January 31 at the last quarterly meeting we had Bob (Business Council) share about the fight he was leading in his city and county against the Pot Initiative. He connected with and collaborated with other councils (Media, Government, Family & Church) to glean information which was used to develop strategy as well as mobilize prayer. A senator (Government Council) introduced legislation to support this effort and shared the critical role Bob's mobilization of the citizens of the city, county and state were. Bob was at the point of the spear on this issue. The other councils added wisdom and key connections. The Church gleaned spiritual intelligence as they prayed and the strategic corporate sustained prayer from many churches added weight to this spear. The result of this effort was: The Church projected power to enforce the will of King Jesus on earth as it is in heaven. Behold the purpose and the fruit of the 1Church1Day strategy. Well done Church. Our councils provide natural intelligence and wisdom. Our continual prayer provides spiritual intelligence and wisdom. Put them both together and we can discover our heavenly Father's will and then do Psalm 68:11 "The Lord gave the word and great was the company of those who proclaimed it.
