![]() Satan our adversary has used political correctness very skillfully. He has cunningly worked through the deceived (the deceived outside the Church and the deceived inside the Church) to create a culture of passivity in the Church. That culture is nurtured in an environment that includes:
Did you hear that first point? Passivity, I said quoting Bill Johnson, "PASSIVITY is NOT Christ like!" That sums up so well my conviction. We at KLI are called to mobilize the Church as the army of the Lord. An army has to be aggressive to be effective. Matthew 11:12 says " And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force." NKJV I am not talking about unbridled anger of aggressiveness, I am talking about a tempered disciplined aggressiveness. That's why Jesus admonishes us to deny ourselves and take up our cross daily. The issue is the difference between mankind's anger and God's anger. Yes, God does get angry (Psalm 7:11, Ezekiel 13:13, Joel 2:13, Hebrews 3:10) but He is slow to anger. In fact, did you know that anger was the emotion that led Jesus to heal one time? Mark :3:4-5 says, ![]() Genesis 1:14-16 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"; and it was so. Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. NKJV God made the lights and established their purpose. Their purpose is to divide between light and darkness and secondly to use as signs to mark seasons. The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is scheduled for September 27-28 this year. Concurrently the moon will become three things at one time. This begs the following questions. What will the moon become? What is God saying and finally what ought we to do? First, what will the moon become on September 27-28?
![]() My wife loves to look at the stars and planets. On July 31st she asked me to join her in the back yard as we observed the full moon rise for the 2nd time in one month. This rare phenomenon occurs once about every three years. This phenomenon was used to coin the phrase "once in a blue moon." (Click here - When is the Next Blue Moon) On the same day on the opposite side of the world two very rare phenomenon's occurred. A meteor struck an area near the capitol of the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world. (Sources: click here and click here). At the same time a world record was flirted with in Bandar Iran. It recorded an apparent temperature of 164 degrees on the heat index scale. The whole region of Iran and Iraq were really hot but that city won the prize. (Sources: click here and click here) I am not a signs and wonder junkie. I don't go looking for them. They do however follow me sometimes as I present God's word (strategy) or others employ the word God gave me. I am not an end-times conspiracy theorist either. I grew up in Christendom hearing teacher after teacher present pre-tribulation, post-tribulation and mid-tribulation views. My wife and I consider ourselves "pan-trib." What is pan-trib? It's and expression we use to say we need to live today like Jesus would return today and plan like He will not return in our lifetime. We need to be busy about our heavenly Father's business every day. As we walk in a personal relationship with Him and pray and obey daily it will all "pan out." We will be where we are supposed to be doing what we are supposed to do in order to fulfill our God given mandate so that when the judgement day comes we can hear "well done good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of the Lord." (Matt. 25:23) I do try to practice what Jesus told us to do which is to "watch and pray." Watching requires observing and reporting. Praying is to be done after observing what's going on and then consulting with our heavenly Father to discover what what we ought to pray in light of what we see and hear. Hence, I am reporting what I see because of the responsibility for reporting described in Ezekiel 33. I'll report: you decide! (What news anchor says that? ) So how often does a meteor and a world record highest temperature ever recorded on the planet hit the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world? Apparently, once in a blue moon. So what does this mean? Is this just some strange coincidence? Or is it a sign? I submit... ![]() On July 31 cyclone Komen hit Bangladesh and parts of Burma (Myanmar). John Mark, KLI's representative in this nation, has worked with us since 2006. During that time churches have been established, a school for children, houses of prayer multiplied and Mount Horeb prayer center (house of prayer = HOP) was established through 7 denominations working together using our strategy. Brenda and I were privileged to visit there in 2013. John Mark reports that within 8 days more than three feet of rain fell flooding many cities, towns and villages. The flooding is worse than what occurred when we visited in 2013 when 40 people died in flooding. In fact four members of his ministry have lost homes as of his last report. He reports that the Buddhist government gives Christians aid last if any at all. The flooding has wiped out their crops and as of his last report a large bag of rise is going for $180. We've already sent a little aid via Western Union. I'd like to strongly urge you to join us in partnering with them click here to donate. Write Burma in the memo section of your check or in the note if you give online. Their ministry and house of prayer (HOP) is part of that eternal house of prayer spoken of in Isaiah 56:7. 1 Corinthians 12:26 says that when one part suffers, we all suffer. Join us in partnering with them. Here are some of John Mark's pictures as well as our report in 2013. It is POWERFUL! If you go to the 13 minute mark in the report you can see us going up to Mount Horeb. It's anointed! Their love of Jesus is marvelous. ![]() Have you noticed that there seems to be a number of conflicting words of warning recently? One says judgment is on the way! The other says quit focusing on judgment and bad things as I see blessings and the greatest move of God ever. One says it is time to prepare for natural disasters and the other condemns those who prepare and for focusing on the negative. One says homosexuality is a sin and another says it is not and promotes ordaining ministers who practice that lifestyle. What is going on? Are the prophets confused? |
