After this event we interviewed all 14 ministers and Pastor Nani asking them to share some of the result they'd seen praying together using the strategy. Every minister reported supernatural answers to prayer. Each testimony began something like this; we met Ps. Nani and he taught us the ORT strategy. We began to pray 24/7 and then this problem or challenge arose and God:
Caused a lifeless baby to live, healed a man with epilepsi, healed a hole in a baby's heart in 4 days (Dr. verified), healed a woman who had been set outside the home and left to die and now she and her family are believers and she holds weekly bible studies in her home, delivered people from demon possession, healed barren a woman barn for 9 years and her whole family accepted Christ, helped the pastor build a building for his congregation.... The testimonies went on and on.
Truly the power of prayer is exponentially increased when we pray in agreement and God's abiding presence in a community changes every thing! Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that we would be one. There is tremendous potential power bound up in the disconnected Church. 1Church1Day is a proven strategy that empowers the Church in a village, city, district or state, made up of many different streams and denominations who share a passion for exalting Jesus name, to connect and loose that bound up power to enforce the will of King Jesus on earth as it is in heaven.
On the day I met with Pastor Nani and his brother Praveen to review the strategy and plan to take 1Church1Day (formerly ORT) to all of India the rains came like a flood. The streets were flooded making it difficult for Nani to get to my hotel. I was thankful for the sign (more than 80 times in 10 years) but was concerned about our outreach the next day. So, we prayed and the rains stopped.
The next day we discovered a miracle had occurred at the place where our outreach was scheduled. All of the harmful insects were destroyed by the rain. Thank you Jesus.
Praveen shares this marvelous testimony in the short video clip above.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Feast of Hanukkah. Hanukkah is known as the Feast of Dedication and the Festival of Lights.
This feast was conceived in the midst of horrible moral decline, persecution and oppression. The Syrian vandals had killed thousands, made the worship of God against the law, desecrated the temple and murdered an old priest (90 years old) who refused their demands to influence the people to worship idols (click here for the history at Chabad.org. Excerpt below).
"This priest, Mattitayah called his sons together and encouraged them to continue to fight in defense of God's Torah. He asked them to follow the the counsel of their brother Shimon the Wise. In waging warfare, he said, their leader should be Judah the Strong. Judah was called "Maccabee," a word composed of the initial letters of the four Hebrew words Mi Kamocha Ba'eilim Hashem, "Who is like You, O God.""
Judah led the Maccabees who revolted against the Syrian oppressors. They were out numbered, out trained, under equipped, but the had God. They won against overwhelming odds and took back the temple. The Syrians had taken the golden lampstand so they created a replacement out of inferior metals. They found enough oil consecrated by the high priest for only one day.
They lit the menorah and the oil lasted for 8 days until more of the holy oil was provided. That was a miracle they celebrate. Rabbi Cahn says that without this miracle the nation of Israel would not have existed for Jesus to come to.
We owe our Christmas celebration to Hanukkah.
Hanukkah celebrates the cleansing of and the re-dedication of the temple and remembers God's miraculous provision of the oil which lit the imperfect lamp. Rabbi Cahn says this feast is the most prophetic of the end times as it points to the abomination of desolation, persecution, foreshadows the anti-Christ and provides a strategy for freedom.
There are powerful end-time keys that this feast prophetically speaks to. In fact, Jesus presented five essential end-time keys during Hanukkah.
First we saw miraculous healings. As we went from church to church we delivered a brief message and then laid hands upon and prayed for anyone who desired prayer. Almost every person desired prayer and many requested prayer for healing. Starting in Bethel Church we saw God heal many people dramatically as we prayed in Jesus name. In this church we saw the Lord heal two sets of eyes, many backs, arthritic knees etc. I prayed a brief prayer and then immediately asked the people to test the the prayer. For eyes we had them read their bible. For backs and knees we asked them to do what they could not do before. One man began leaping and jumping as he tested his back and knees.
More eyes were healed at other churches along with fevers and stomach issues as well. The video above shares a video I took at the end of the day with several people starting with Praveen my interpreter describing what happened. In fact, Praveen had never seen anyone healed before this day. By the end of the day I had trained him and He saw God heal people himself. One person he prayed for was even slain in the spirit. I urge you to watch the video. It's powerful. I love the wonder that accompanies God's works.
Later in the trip I saw a mute tongue loosed and a man reported how God healed a 15 year old tumor after I'd laid my hand on his head the night before. I'd never seen God do that before this week.
Mark 16:20 - And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
