Thank you to those of you who were able to join us at the First Kingdom Congress last Friday evening in Everett. What a time we had! More than 150 leaders from government, business, education, ministry, and other spheres gathered to exalt King Jesus over our state and issue a response to the Goliath-sized challenges of our day. Is there not a cause?!

The vision presented at the First Kingdom Congress was one of corporate unity and projected power in the body of Christ. The consensus of those that gathered was, "Why not us, and why not now?" We are on the cusp of a historic new work of cooperation and unity in the Church of Washington State, one that will see the elders return to the gates of our cities, and the watch of the Lord establish a wall of prayer around the state.

For those of you who were not able to come, we invite you to join us on October 3, 2014 for the Second Kingdom Congress, where we will continue to unfold the plan for 1Church1Day (www.1church1day.org), the strategy for linking the body in a continual prayer watch for our state and gathering leaders from each of the seven spheres of society into strategic councils. These two efforts, combined with the communication plan that will link them, will provide valuable spiritual and natural intelligence for how to position the Church for
transformation in our state.

Noise comes from the Hebrew word qowl which means "to call aloud, a voice, a proclamation, a sound and a thunder."  This reminded me of Psalm 18:6-14 which speaks of the thunder of God's voice.  These are scriptures tied to strategies God has given me to help connect the body of Christ, mobilize the army of the Lord, and establish 24/7 prayer, praise and worship in a community.  It positions the Church in a city or region to better hear the voice of the Lord.  

No sooner had I begun to meditate upon this in my back yard when I heard thunder.  Others who attended the seminar also saw and heard the thunder, hail and lightning.  Here's a report from King 5 news that describes how the power was knocked out  in many communities and hail as large as marbles fell.

This is a copy of a testimony I received from Pastor Nani Babu who was our first CONECTer in India who used Operation Rolling Thunder (ORT) to mobilize and unite churches to pray together.  I'll let his letter speak for itself.

Dear sir,

Our country especially my state depends on agriculture and our agriculture relies on rain. Eighty percent of our people are employed through agriculture and its related works. We depend upon rain for electricity generation as well as drinking water for livestock and people. Every year the rains start in the first week June; except this year. The temperatures have been extra warm to and has killed many fruit trees which many farmers rely upon for their income.

This year the monsoon came late. These conditions not only contributed to many fields becoming useless but also heightened the number of people whose health is failing.  Many Hindu priests performed their rituals for rain throughout the month. We waited for our turn. People are expecting rain for cultivation, and for cool weather, electricity generation, drinking water for people and livestock.

On 4th of July I made a decision and passed the message to all the churches using the ORT strategy with me and their CONECTers. We (churches, CONECTers, prayer warriors)  prayed together on July 5th for rains in India. We prayed one full day and on Sunday we had our worship service.  That night at 8 pm our prayers were answered and the rain is still falling.  People are so thankful and praising God for that. Many may not know what caused rain to fall, But the ORT churches know.  We hope every thing will be made right within short time.

I really blessed to be the  National CONECTer and Overseer for a such a powerful strategy, and working with such a powerful prayer warriors internationally. I heartily thank Apostle Tim.  It is such a privilege to work with him as overseer of ORT- India. I love it.

There is a tyranny facing our nation today that looms as large as Goliath did when he defied the armies of Israel.  The answer is the same now as it was then; a David; actually a company of David's who will rise with courage and run to meet the giants of our day.

Our nation was founded by a people who sought freedom from a government who encroached first on their religious liberties and then spilled over into other areas.  When the early colonist no longer found they could redress their issues with the king, they appealed to God and heaven. This cry was formalized in an ensign when George Washington commissioned the formation of a navy to assist his army in their cause.

The attacks levied today against the family, life, and now religious freedom are clear.  The situation is no less dire than in the founding of our nation and the need to appeal to heaven is urgent. God looks for a people who will respond like David did when he cried "is there not a cause?" (1 Sam 17:29)

The "Appeal to Heaven" was accompanied by the formation of a congress.  A congress by its very definition is a formal meeting or assembly of representatives who gather for the discussion, arrangement, or promotion of some matter of common interest. It is a meeting; an encounter.  The First Continental Congress launched a process which led to the founding of these United States.

Calling Christian Leaders from all Seven Spheres of Society
With this in mind we are calling forth the First Kingdom Conference of Washington State. We seek Christian representatives from all seven spheres of society (church, business, government, media/entertainment, healthcare, and the family) who like David, will have the courage to appeal to heaven and then act upon heavens direction.

What do we expect from this First Kingdom Congress? Recognizing that the Church is the Lord's primary purveyor of His kingdom, we expect to start a process modeled after a pattern that King David established that will lead to the:

• Formulate strategic councils representing the seven spheres of society and the five-fold ministry in Washington State
• Mobilize and connect churches and houses of prayer to raise a canopy of 24/7 prayer that will project power to push back the army of darkness in our cities, counties, and state.
• Unify these efforts to receive the wisdom of God for a spiritual reformation in our state

This Passover will be marked by a very rare heavenly event: a lunar eclipse. Some have coined this a blood moon.  In fact it is the first of four blood moons that will occur on the Feasts of Passover and Sukkot (Tabernacles) in 2014 and 2015. Four lunar eclipses are called a tetrad and there have only been seven recorded since 1 AD.  In the last century the tetrads occurred twice.  The first was associated with Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and the second was in 1967 right after the Six Day War occurred.  That's remarkable don't you think?

Jesus told us about the conditions that would exist before He returns in Matthew 24-25 and  Luke 21.  He says that there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and admonishes us not to allow ourselves to allow our hearts to become weighed down with drunkenness, carousing, or the cares of this life but to rather "watch and pray."  My friends, we are living in amazing times and God still has plans for the nation of Israel.  Israel finds herself in very challenging times once again as peace talks have stalled and are set to expire on April 29th.  Historically tetrads have always marked a time of tragedy followed by triumph for Israel.  

The lunar eclipse (blood moon) is scheduled to begin at 10:58pm PDT as the moon moves into the earth shadow. The full lunar eclipse begins at 12:07am and lasts until 1:25am PDT. 

If there was ever a sign in the heavens that said "watch and pray" these blood moons occurring on Passover and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) in 2014 and 2015 sure do. It is a time to pray first for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122) and then for the salvation of Israel (Romans 10:1).  Then we will pray whatever our Lord shows us to pray for His Church, our community, state and our nation.

We would like to invite you to join us in a "Night Prayer Watch on Passover, April 14th." We'll begin our watch at sunset on April 14th. We are going to invite our Church to join us in our local area and we encourage you to invite your church family to gather together in homes or as a local congregation to watch and pray with us.  Actually, we are going to watch not only in prayer but also with a telescope!  

Here are some of the scriptures we'll be meditating upon and praying too. 

Genesis 1:14 says that God set the lights in the heavens for signs and seasons. Last night (April 8th) Mars, Earth and the Sun aligned one week before the start of the first of 4 blood moons.  It's almost like the planets were aligning to point to the beginning of this unusual heavenly event.  The rarity of this event is off the charts (click here for APOCALYPSE NOW: Why a rare astrological event LAST NIGHT could herald the 'End of Days').

How Should We Respond?

Jesus said in Luke 21:25-36 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;  26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.... So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.... 34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.  35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." NKJV

Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 40:3 "Prepare the way of the Lord.... a highway for our God."  John the Baptist "prepared the way" before Jesus came the first time (Matt. 3:3) and the Lord has a people who are preparing the way of the Lord for His second coming as well.  They are spoken of in Isaiah 62.  They are the watchmen who pray in Zion who cry out who never  hold their peace (Isa. 62:1-12).  They are "pre-praying" the way of the Lord and preparing a bride (Church) to meet her heavenly bridegroom. 

For look! The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string,
That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.  If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do? Psalm 11:2-3

There is no question there is a multifaceted all out strategic attack being launched against the truth of God's word in all spheres of society through people who have rejected God and His Word. From Common Core in the education realm, to an attack on God's family design from Hollywood and organizations like GLADD, to ObamaCare which is decimating not only healthcare but has also affected the relgious sphere, family, business and government spheres of society.  For a nation whose foundation was so grounded upon God's word and His principles in its conception this is disastrous.  The fruit of our wars, economy, disease, crime etc. all reflect the warnings described in the Pentateuch.  These are ancient truths.

It's like the principle of gravity.  It's not the fall that hurts.  It is the sudden stop the body experiences when flesh encounters something that's existed much longer than it.  It  is the earth that has been here since creation.  Our nation is on a crash course with eternal truth and it is time to brace for impact. 

Eternal spiritual truths are just that : eternal truths.  If you ignore them eventually you will run into the truth and the encounter with the truth can be disastrous.   Respect God's word and you can enjoy the benefits.  Reject God's word and you can enjoy  the results of your choice.  

Our nation became the most prosperous nation in the world because Biblical principles from the foundation of God's word were so integrated in the formation of our government and its judicial system.  One thing to note is that no system of government works unless there are men of character to oversee it.  I don't care if we are talking about democracy, a republic, socialism, communism or a dictatorship.  All will fail without character.  The character is the foundation of a man's soul.  

Without going into the reason why nor attempting to assign blame I'll just acknowledge that there are wicked men (women) in some of the highest offices of our nation.  I emphasize wicked because one of the meanings of that word is twisted.  Their thinking is twisted therefore their logic is twisted and there are consequences associated with implementing unrighteous laws and policies.  I.e. see 1st and 2nd Kings and do a study on the kings who "causes Israel to sin." 

So the question is; if the foundations are destroyed, "what can the righteous do?" 

Yesterday I shared how fasting and prayer can affect world events click here for Fasting & Shaping History. Today I'd like to talk about the two kinds of fasting described in Isaiah 58.  One is a fast motivated by pride and religion.  The second is the fast that God chooses.

A religious fast that is motivated primarily by pride and works yields works that God takes no notice in.   Their prayers for justice go unheard and their affliction is unseen by God.  Why?  

Isaiah 58:3-4  
'Why have we fasted,' they say, 'and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?'  "In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,
And exploit all your laborers. Indeed you fast for strife and debate, And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, To make your voice heard on high. NKJV

God won't hear because the purpose of the fast primarily motivated by pride.  Pride blinds a person from God's righteousness therefore their prayers and actions are misdirected.  They are not right.  Their prayer and actions do not line up with God's word.  This is evidenced by how they exploit or take advantage of people and secondly misdirected justice.  Wicked is the root word of wicker like in wicker furniture.  It's called wicker because it is twisted.  Wicked means twisted or evil.  Therefore justice is misguided and correction is brought in wickedness.  James sheds some light as to why this is.

Situation Report
Dark is getting darker as people call evil good and good evil (Isa. 5:20).  Because of the transgression in the land civil government expands its reach through a multitude of laws (Prov 28:2).  Unrighteous men who create unrighteous laws (ie. that kill innocent children) will not have fellowship with God (Ps. 94:20-23).  The growing confusion and death all point to dark getting darker (Isa. 41:29, Isa. 24:10, Ps. 107:10, Isa. 9:2, Zech 12:4).

We draw near to the "day of the Lord."  It is a time where there are multitudes who have entered into the valley of decision (Joel 3:14).  It is a day of darkness and gloominess (Joel 2:2).

A People Come Great and Strong - the Sons of Light - Out of Zion

Joel 2:2-3A day of darkness and gloominess,  A day of clouds and thick darkness, Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains.  A people come, great and strong, The like of whom has never been;  Nor will there ever be any such after them,
Even for many successive generations.  A fire devours before them, And behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, And behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them. NKJV

Joel 2:10-12
The earth quakes before them, The heavens tremble;  The sun and moon grow dark, And the stars diminish their brightness. 
 The Lord gives voice before His army,  For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; Who can endure it?  "Now, therefore," says the Lord,  "Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning." NKJV

Joel 3:16 
The Lord also will roar from Zion,  And utter His voice from Jerusalem;  The heavens and earth will shake; But the Lord will be a shelter for His people, And the strength of the children of Israel. NKJV

John 12:35-36
Then Jesus said to them, "A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.   While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." NKJV

1 Thessalonians 5:5-11
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.  Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.  For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.  But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.  For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. 
Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. NKJV

Dark will grow darker but light will grow lighter.

Isaiah 60:1-3 
Arise, shine;  For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.   For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,  And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you,  And His glory will be seen upon you.  The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising. 

Darkness will continue to grow but so will the light.  When God designed light and dark He set a boundary between the two and He called this boundary good (Gen. 1:4).  

You will see a holy people emerge not out of legalism but rather a holy love for Jesus Christ our Lord.  As they take up their cross, die to themselves as Jesus did, they will become bearers of the light and the anointing.  

Zion was the place of continual prayer, praise and worship in a city.  We will see more and more city churches cooperating together to create the atmosphere of heaven (continual prayer, praise and worship) in their cities.  Houses of prayer will become more like strategic operation centers helping facilitate and coordinate the efforts of local congregations.  Kingdom minded leaders from all spheres of society will form councils which will be like gathering the elders at the gates of a city. These kingdom minded people will gather together corporately, work together corporately as priests, and then as kings take their light into their spheres of influence.  They will be Christ bearers, lights that shine in darkness gone to deliver those who are bound in darkness hating even the garments stained by sin.

Behold a GREAT LIGHT is emerging across our land.  A light shines in darkness!  God is calling forth strong men to carry the light for it is they who will overcome the strongman.

Matthew 12:29-30
Or how can one enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.  30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. NKJV

In 2014:

• The watch of the Lord will grow in cities to seat the courtroom of heaven
• We will see more decisions for Christ this year as we draw nearer the dawning of a 3rd Great Awakening

Let us pray the Lord of the harvest send laborers to the harvest.  Let us pray for the restoration of David's tabernacle (Amos 9:11-12).  Click here for Part 1 of What is God Saying for 2014?

Satan launched an all out campaign to undermine the fear of the Lord.  How?  I'm glad you asked.  

The key is to undermine the truth that God is the Creator.  When you get rid of the truth that there is a Creator then you have undermined that fact that there is "divine design."  When you undermine divine design then the truth that everyone is created with a purpose is attacked.  When purpose is destroyed then accountability is torpedoed.  Accountability means the responsibilty to answer for your choices.  When you destroy the concept of everyone giving an account for their life before an eternal God, then you have dismantled the fear of God.  Psalm 111:10 and Proverbs 9:10 teach us that the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom. 

There is lots of talk in the body of Christ today saying there is no need for fear because fear drives you away and does not draw you near.  That's not totally true.  There are two kinds of fear.  Matthew 25 and Luke 19 Jesus illustrates the kind of fear that drives a wedge between the servant and his master.  You remember the parable.  Three servants were given some money.  Two invested and recieved a return while one servant hid their talent out of fear.  That kind of fear that provoked inaction and missed the mark actually contributed to the seperation between the master and his servant.  (The introduction was inspired as I listend to Bill Johnson teach on "Dealing with Sexual Sin in the Church.")

There is another kind of fear based on reverence, love, respect and awe. Its the kind of fear that is found in a healthy relationship with a parent or a spouse. It is a recognition of the consequences possible through trust being violated.  This kind of fear actually facilitates intimacy and draws us near.  

Campaigns are a series of battles.  Here are a few battles I'd like to highlight to illustrate the effects of Satan's strategy with the hope that it will inspire you to engage in God's divine plan for your life.  Let's start with Satan's attack on accountability.  I like to think of it as account-ability or as, do you have the ability to count?  

If you are wondering if I was using a word play you are correct.  Do you have the ability to make a difference?  You can if you are honest and can count numerically. This is how you can introduce accountability (a count ability).
