God's word framed the world. He spoke and created.
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
God made us in His image and He created. He made us to create just like He did. Spoken words are our tools by which we use to frame our own world.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
If words are our tools then the question is, how well are we using those tools? Are you choosing words that build up or destroy? Do you encourage or discourage?

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Expectancy - www.Dictionary.com =

The word we translate faith comes from the Greek word pistis. It means a moral conviction of truth;an assurance, a belief, faith, and fidelity.
In recent days an atheist and a humanist have visited an article I wrote. They were bloggers looking for a story and an argument and I got a lesson in the condition of modern day journalistic ethics (or not). That's beside the point. The attitude expressed, at least by the atheist was that he would not believe unless he saw proof. But faith works just the other way.
