![]() We are excited to announce details for the Second Kingdom Congress(register below)! Please join us on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Renton Technical College, where we will continue the historic work we began last month to unite the body of Christ for the glory of King Jesus and the work of transformation in Washington State. At the First Kingdom Congress, held on August 22nd at Sonrise Christian Center, more than 150 leaders from government, business, education, ministry, and other spheres gathered to exalt the name of Jesus over our state and issue a response to the Goliath-sized challenges of our day. Is there not a cause?! Together, we made significant strides in the effort to:

From Inspiration to Activation At the founding of our nation, the First Continental Congress served to inspire the colonists to action, but it wasn't until the Second Continental Congress that the Patriots began operating in a united, coordinated effort. Key delegates such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson who were not present at the first congress also joined the cause at that time. On October 4, 2014 at the Second Kingdom Congress, we will... ![]() Genesis 1:14 says that God set the lights in the heavens for signs and seasons. Last night (April 8th) Mars, Earth and the Sun aligned one week before the start of the first of 4 blood moons. It's almost like the planets were aligning to point to the beginning of this unusual heavenly event. The rarity of this event is off the charts (click here for APOCALYPSE NOW: Why a rare astrological event LAST NIGHT could herald the 'End of Days'). How Should We Respond? Jesus said in Luke 21:25-36 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.... So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.... 34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." NKJV Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 40:3 "Prepare the way of the Lord.... a highway for our God." John the Baptist "prepared the way" before Jesus came the first time (Matt. 3:3) and the Lord has a people who are preparing the way of the Lord for His second coming as well. They are spoken of in Isaiah 62. They are the watchmen who pray in Zion who cry out who never hold their peace (Isa. 62:1-12). They are "pre-praying" the way of the Lord and preparing a bride (Church) to meet her heavenly bridegroom. ![]() Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. NKJV Psalm 2 is such a powerful Messianic portion of scripture that speaks of Jesus. I love it! But verse 12 always bugged me. It seemed out of place to me. That is, until I looked at what the Hebrew words meant and then I realized just how limited our English language was to fully express all our Lord was trying to say. Once I saw what God was really saying it not only made more sense, it provides marvelous insight as to how to be equipped for spiritual war. The word translated "kiss" in verse 12 means.... ![]() Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. KJV For years the Lord has marked the message I carry with supernatural signs and wonders. Our Lord of Hosts wants His house of prayer for all nations built, David's tabernacle restored and His army mobilized as their is a great harvest that our Lord expects as we approach the end of the age. God's used many supernatural signs to encourage me often in spite of opposition, criticism, the spiritual dullness that accompanies complacency. Now the sign in this picture isn't supernatural but I find it very amusing. God knows me. He knows how my mind works and He knew where we would live and knew what He called us to do. Whether the county workers realized it or not, I think God had them place that sign there just to amuse and encourage me. This is the sign at the entrance to our driveway; "Road Narrows." When I first saw it I thought of this as "the gateway to the narrow way." This is a place where many disciples will begin their walk towards their high call in Christ Jesus. Matthew 7:13-14 was the first scripture that came to mind because that's the first place in the New Testament where Jesus admonished us to enter by the strait or narrow gate because it was the narrow way that led to life. I got a chuckle out of it as this was the birthplace of Kingdom League International (KLI) and Christ knew the vision before we wrote it down. (Members of KLI pay attention! While I find this amusing it is also very serious.) We (KLI) seek to make disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples unto our Lord Jesus Christ. We are called to reveal Him for when He is revealed 1 John 3:2 says that "when He is revealed we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is." We are passionate about inviting Christ's abiding presence personally and corporately within our city and region. But that requires entering at a narrow gate and following a narrow way. The Greek word translated "strait" or "narrow" depending on your translation is absolutely insightful and intriguing when you understand the root of the word. If you know me you know that I love to unpack the in depth meanings of Hebrew and Greek words. The term league within the name of our ministry is loaded with meaning that expresses an important characteristic we are called to demonstrate. "League" comes from the Hebrew word "berit." This word in the Old Testament is usally translated... ![]() Yesterday I shared how fasting and prayer can affect world events click here for Fasting & Shaping History. Today I'd like to talk about the two kinds of fasting described in Isaiah 58. One is a fast motivated by pride and religion. The second is the fast that God chooses. A religious fast that is motivated primarily by pride and works yields works that God takes no notice in. Their prayers for justice go unheard and their affliction is unseen by God. Why? Isaiah 58:3-4 'Why have we fasted,' they say, 'and You have not seen? Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?' "In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, And exploit all your laborers. Indeed you fast for strife and debate, And to strike with the fist of wickedness. You will not fast as you do this day, To make your voice heard on high. NKJV God won't hear because the purpose of the fast primarily motivated by pride. Pride blinds a person from God's righteousness therefore their prayers and actions are misdirected. They are not right. Their prayer and actions do not line up with God's word. This is evidenced by how they exploit or take advantage of people and secondly misdirected justice. Wicked is the root word of wicker like in wicker furniture. It's called wicker because it is twisted. Wicked means twisted or evil. Therefore justice is misguided and correction is brought in wickedness. James sheds some light as to why this is. ![]() Only an hour after I posted Part 2 of What's God Saying for 2014 I saw a sign and a wonder God gave to mark the word about how God intends His light to shine in darkness. It was two super moons (1st & the 30th) that occur in January. Talk about a light that shines in darkness. Super moons occur when they are closest to the earth. Hence it is lighter in the dark. Truly a light shined in darkness. As I considered Luke 21:25-28 recognizing God uses the sun, moon and stars to communicate in the latter days I asked Him for greater insight into what these two super moons meant. That's when I heard a "harvest moon is arising." A harvest moon occurs in the fall on the Saturday nearest the fall equinox. Its a full moon opposite the sun. The farmers call it a harvest moon because it provides more light so they can harvest late into the night (click here for more explanation). God used this sign to mark His word I shared in Part 2 of What's God Saying for 2014; " We will see more decisions for Christ this year as we draw nearer the dawning of a 3rd Great Awakening." God is calling forth the sons of light and giving us a harvest moon so we can work late into the night. Why? Because the harvest is not complete. There is still much work to do. It's time to prepare for harvest my friends. January is not the fall. It's not time for harvest. But Amos 9:11 teaches us that one of the keys to the harvest is the restoration of David's tabernacle (24/7 prayer, praise and worship in a city). As it is restored (ie. through strategies such as Operation Rolling Thunder) we will see the plowman overtake the reaper. The prayer movement that has been establishing houses of prayer throughout the world has been one of the tools God has used to restore David's tabernacle. Therefore, harvesting and planting will begin to overlap. We will harvest in season and out of season. In fact now, every season is a season to harvest. Matthew 9:37-38 (Luke 10:2) Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." NKJV This harvest is so huge we need all hands on deck. We need to prepare to let our nets (plural) down so we can receive this harvest for our Lord. This is why we've been seeking to connect churches in cities through our strategies for years. Join us in praying for but also in harvesting souls this year for our Lord Jesus Christ. Let Him receive the just reward for His suffering. ![]() (CNN) -- Hold the obituary. Experts now think Comet ISON -- or at least part of it -- survived its close encounter with the sun.... Earlier Thursday, NASA scientists had pretty much declared ISON dead at the end of a Google Hangout to watch the comet swing by the sun. But professional and amateur astronomers were undeterred by the reports and kept analyzing NASA satellites. They found images that clearly show something emerging from the sun." Two days ago I published "Thanksgiving - Hannakah & the ISON Comet on Nov 28." It noted that the occurence of Thanksgiving and Hannakah occuring on the same day will not happen again for another 70,000+ thousand years. Combine that with the ISON Comet passing near the sun on that same day and we find God speaking through a remarkable interalationship of signs in the heavens and on the earth. Two days ago I shared part of what I think God is saying. What's God saying through all of this? I submit, we have much to be thankful for IF we keep our focus on heaven. It's time to re-dedicate ourselves back to the Lord just like the Jews dedicated the temple back to the Lord a second time after the Maccabean revolt. It's time to let our lights so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify our Father in heaven. Jesus taught us to pray kingdom come and will be done ON EARTH as it is in HEAVEN. I invite you to join me in dedicating ourselves to manifesting heaven on earth in a new and glorious way during this season of thanksgiving. - See more at: http://www.kingdomleague.org/3/post/2013/11/thanksgiving-hannakah-the-ison-comet-on-nov-28.html#sthash.mZOuwppN.dpuf At first it was reported that the comet did not survive its brush with the sun. But now we find that it did. What does this mean? I submit to you.... ![]() Are you going through a real stressful time? Do you feel like you are about to "FREAK OUT?" Well that's not good. "Freaking out" is a sure sign that fear has taken over and is digging its tentacles into your mind to torment you. 1 John 4:18 says, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. NKJV Faith works by love and the bible says that perfect love casts out fear. There is a good kind of fear (ie. fear of the Lord, sharks, climbing a mountain, entering a combat zone etc.) that heightens our senses and leads to wiser choices. Then there is the bad fear that torments and causes us to freeze up. That is the kind of fear we want to avoid. Working Out in the Spirit Some stress is good! That's what causes muscles to grow. You just need to make sure you strike a balance between fear, rest, and God's nutrition. Allow the thing that is the catalyst for fear (that's the thing that first concerns you) motivate you to take action. Fear can be like a heavy weight that can immobilize you. So, let's think of this like a workout. ![]() Update 9-17-2013 - Fully Funded! Brenda and I have the great privilege of ministering in Myanmar/Burma soon. I began to work with a young apostle starting in 2006 who served as one of our CONECTers. In 2008 he helped launch one of the first prayer centers through ORT. This strategy has helped leaders launch 34 prayer centers around the world so far. Our CONECTer worked with 7 different denominations and they established Mount Horeb Prayer Center. During our outreach we will be not only will we minister to the founders of the prayer center, church elders and tribal elders but we will also host an Apostolic Leadership Conference for 150 ministers. The focus of this conference is equipping kings and priest to re-present the gospel of the kingdom with authority in power in Jesus name. We see this as a strategic opportunity. Christians are a minority here, however, the area we are in has a large contingent of Christians. So we'll have an opportunity to help them build that eternal house of prayer for all nations with a view to launching a variety of aggressive church planting strategies into the nation. We will also visit children in a nursery and install a fresh water well for the young apostle and his people. We covet your prayer and support ($2700 more needed today). If you would like to learn how you can partner with us in this strategic outreach then I invite you to visit http://fundly.com/myanmar-burma-outreach. For those who have already given we say: Thanks be to God for your indescribable gift 2 Corinthians 9:12-15 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! Brenda and I want to extend our sincerest heartfelt thanks to you for your partnership in the gospel and your stewardship distribution of the resources Christ put within your hands. We thank God for you and bless you in Jesus name. Bless according to the Theological Workbook of the Old Testament means "to endue with power for success, prosperity, fecundity (means to reproduce), and longevity..." Enjoy the slide show below! ![]() About five years ago my wife planted a grape vine. A couple of years later she planted two more. We knew nothing about grapes. But we sure are learning and it is bringing scripture to life. Jesus says in John 15:1-2: " I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit." Vines won't produce really anything the first three years. It takes time. The first year it began to produce (3rd year) I let it grow. Those vines were shooting out everywhere and growing fast. My goodness it looked great. But it did not produce much fruit at all. I trimmed it a little and the next year it did a little better; but not much better. The next year I pruned it so aggressively Brenda was concerned that I'd killed it. Boy was she wrong! That year it produced more fruit than the first two combined. Then I learned, the more I pruned the vines that produced fruit, the larger the grapes grew. The fruit of the vine became plump and plentiful verses puny and pitiful. Then I began to actually do some research to learn more about how to actually grow grapes. One of the things I learned was that to grow good grapes it is recommended that you remove 80-90% of the previous years growth. Think about that. That is aggressive. Now I learned that by experience! Imagine if I'd paid attention to what the scripture said and also to what experienced vine-dressers taught before I started growing grapes. Typical guy! Trying to operate something without reading the owners manual first. Sorry, I digressed! So the Lord has been challenging me to apply these truths from His word to my life and our ministry. Here is what I have learned. |
