![]() We are excited to announce details for the Second Kingdom Congress(register below)! Please join us on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Renton Technical College, where we will continue the historic work we began last month to unite the body of Christ for the glory of King Jesus and the work of transformation in Washington State. At the First Kingdom Congress, held on August 22nd at Sonrise Christian Center, more than 150 leaders from government, business, education, ministry, and other spheres gathered to exalt the name of Jesus over our state and issue a response to the Goliath-sized challenges of our day. Is there not a cause?! Together, we made significant strides in the effort to:

From Inspiration to Activation At the founding of our nation, the First Continental Congress served to inspire the colonists to action, but it wasn't until the Second Continental Congress that the Patriots began operating in a united, coordinated effort. Key delegates such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson who were not present at the first congress also joined the cause at that time. On October 4, 2014 at the Second Kingdom Congress, we will... ![]() Revelation 12 describes how a war with Satan spilled from heaven on to earth. Satan in his fury and anger desiring to hurt who defeated him then went to deceive, destroy and to make war against people whom God loves. My friends, whether you like it or not, we are at war. Today is July 4th, the day we celebrate our nation's independence from tyranny. The Declaration of Independence was signed today in 1776. It was the result of the work performed in the Second Congress. This Congress also authorized and sent George Washington to mobilize and organize an army to represent the newly formed government who represented the will of its people. It took a war to deliver a people from oppression. There were three types of people
We owe what our nation has enjoyed today, not to a majority but rather to a small group of patriots who risked their lives and fortunes for the sake of all. Many of these patriots were inspired by the greatest example of love ever set when Jesus choose to die upon the cross for the sake of all mankind. Jesus did this to give us the keys to victory in this heavenly conflict that spilled on to earth. The Bible says in,
I say that there are those who, ![]() There is a tyranny facing our nation today that looms as large as Goliath did when he defied the armies of Israel. The answer is the same now as it was then; a David; actually a company of David's who will rise with courage and run to meet the giants of our day. Our nation was founded by a people who sought freedom from a government who encroached first on their religious liberties and then spilled over into other areas. When the early colonist no longer found they could redress their issues with the king, they appealed to God and heaven. This cry was formalized in an ensign when George Washington commissioned the formation of a navy to assist his army in their cause. The attacks levied today against the family, life, and now religious freedom are clear. The situation is no less dire than in the founding of our nation and the need to appeal to heaven is urgent. God looks for a people who will respond like David did when he cried "is there not a cause?" (1 Sam 17:29) The "Appeal to Heaven" was accompanied by the formation of a congress. A congress by its very definition is a formal meeting or assembly of representatives who gather for the discussion, arrangement, or promotion of some matter of common interest. It is a meeting; an encounter. The First Continental Congress launched a process which led to the founding of these United States. Calling Christian Leaders from all Seven Spheres of Society With this in mind we are calling forth the First Kingdom Conference of Washington State. We seek Christian representatives from all seven spheres of society (church, business, government, media/entertainment, healthcare, and the family) who like David, will have the courage to appeal to heaven and then act upon heavens direction. What do we expect from this First Kingdom Congress? Recognizing that the Church is the Lord's primary purveyor of His kingdom, we expect to start a process modeled after a pattern that King David established that will lead to the:
Dr. Dan Hammer and Tim Taylor would like to invite you to join us on August 22nd to launch a long term strategic process at: ![]() It is April 1st about 12:30am. I'd just begun my portion of the prayer watch our church stands as part of the 24/7 prayer strategy in our community (click for ORT). I began to hear a siren. It was not a regular siren but rather reminded me of an old air raid siren. I strained to hear for I could not tell if it were an actual siren or if I were hearing it in the spirit. So I got up and stepped outside. All I could hear was a plane. No siren. I stepped back in the house and I heard it again. The closer I got to my chair where I sat to pray the louder it got. I sat their listening to it for another four or five minutes and then it began to fade until it became very quiet. It is a spiritual warning. In my 30 plus years of watching and praying I've never heard a sound this clear, this long and that audible for so long. I began to ask The Lord what did the siren mean. I knew what it meant in WWII. It was an air raid siren that warned of an imminent attack by air. I did a little research and Wikipedia says; " Initially designed to warn of air raids in WW II, they were adapted to warn of nuclear attack and of natural phenomena such as tornadoes ....The "Attack" tone is the iconic, rising-falling sound of an air raid or nuclear attack frequently heard in war movies. It was once reserved for imminent enemy attack, but is today sometimes used to warn of severe weather, tsunamis, or even fire calls, depending on local ordinance." So I asked The Lord, what does this mean and what are we supposed to do? ![]() I saw a post by Dr. Lance Wallnau of LanceLearning today on Facebook. With his permission I am reprinting his post below. Why? Amos 3:7 - Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. Here is a summary of the major themes I see:
Lance's Post - 9/17/2013 ![]() Update 9-17-2013 - Fully Funded! Brenda and I have the great privilege of ministering in Myanmar/Burma soon. I began to work with a young apostle starting in 2006 who served as one of our CONECTers. In 2008 he helped launch one of the first prayer centers through ORT. This strategy has helped leaders launch 34 prayer centers around the world so far. Our CONECTer worked with 7 different denominations and they established Mount Horeb Prayer Center. During our outreach we will be not only will we minister to the founders of the prayer center, church elders and tribal elders but we will also host an Apostolic Leadership Conference for 150 ministers. The focus of this conference is equipping kings and priest to re-present the gospel of the kingdom with authority in power in Jesus name. We see this as a strategic opportunity. Christians are a minority here, however, the area we are in has a large contingent of Christians. So we'll have an opportunity to help them build that eternal house of prayer for all nations with a view to launching a variety of aggressive church planting strategies into the nation. We will also visit children in a nursery and install a fresh water well for the young apostle and his people. We covet your prayer and support ($2700 more needed today). If you would like to learn how you can partner with us in this strategic outreach then I invite you to visit http://fundly.com/myanmar-burma-outreach. For those who have already given we say: Thanks be to God for your indescribable gift 2 Corinthians 9:12-15 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! Brenda and I want to extend our sincerest heartfelt thanks to you for your partnership in the gospel and your stewardship distribution of the resources Christ put within your hands. We thank God for you and bless you in Jesus name. Bless according to the Theological Workbook of the Old Testament means "to endue with power for success, prosperity, fecundity (means to reproduce), and longevity..." Enjoy the slide show below! ![]() About five years ago my wife planted a grape vine. A couple of years later she planted two more. We knew nothing about grapes. But we sure are learning and it is bringing scripture to life. Jesus says in John 15:1-2: " I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit." Vines won't produce really anything the first three years. It takes time. The first year it began to produce (3rd year) I let it grow. Those vines were shooting out everywhere and growing fast. My goodness it looked great. But it did not produce much fruit at all. I trimmed it a little and the next year it did a little better; but not much better. The next year I pruned it so aggressively Brenda was concerned that I'd killed it. Boy was she wrong! That year it produced more fruit than the first two combined. Then I learned, the more I pruned the vines that produced fruit, the larger the grapes grew. The fruit of the vine became plump and plentiful verses puny and pitiful. Then I began to actually do some research to learn more about how to actually grow grapes. One of the things I learned was that to grow good grapes it is recommended that you remove 80-90% of the previous years growth. Think about that. That is aggressive. Now I learned that by experience! Imagine if I'd paid attention to what the scripture said and also to what experienced vine-dressers taught before I started growing grapes. Typical guy! Trying to operate something without reading the owners manual first. Sorry, I digressed! So the Lord has been challenging me to apply these truths from His word to my life and our ministry. Here is what I have learned. ![]() Excerpt from Aligning with the Apostolic Volume III - "The Spiritual Architect" by Tim Taylor As a king, David had responsibility for how all of the spheres of society connected and interacted. I believe the seven mountain concept is like a modern day parable. It helps us to understand an aspect or a certain view of the kingdom God wants His people to establish. The first decision King David made to begin to expand the kingdom was to set up a tent on Mount Zion and he established an administration of teams to ensure that God’s abiding presence was always welcome in his city. After this was established we see all through 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicles that David’s armies saw victory after victory. They acquired spoil from these victories. It is important to understand that King David was also a skillful general. He had learned the art of war. This skill is also an aspect of the apostolic gift. Here are a couple of excerpts from Developing Apostolic Strategy that will shed some light on this aspect of the apostolic gift. The word apostle was first a Greek/Phoenician seafaring term that meant leader of a convoy of ships. Later it came to refer to the commander of an invasion force. As time went on the Romans used it to refer to former generals who then became ambassadors. The Jewish culture eventually began to use it when speaking of an envoy who collected tribute. Finally, Jesus used it speaking of the first 12 disciples. In summary the history of the word meant: · The leader of a convoy of ships · The commander of an invasion force · An ambassador general sent to represent a government to another nation ![]() Excerpt from Aligning with the Apostolic Volume III - "The Spiritual Architect" by Tim Taylor 1 Corinthians 3:9-11 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. NKJV Paul the apostle is the one who penned this portion of scripture which provides keen insight into another aspect of the apostolic gift, its role and its order. He describes himself as a “master builder.” The Greek word translated “master builder” literally means chief architect. Architects are the first ones to work on a project and design plans which move a structure from vision into reality. These plans provide the pattern from which the general contractor and all of the sub-contractors work from. This is why in 1 Corinthians 12:28 apostles go first, prophets second and teachers third. It is an order of function. God has uniquely designed this gift with revelation and wisdom to build. This gift working with the prophet lays the foundation for all of the rest of the gifts to successfully build their part while interacting with the rest of the team. ![]() I met Representative Matt Shea in Spokane WA in 2010 while I was mobilizing the Church in that region through Operation Rolling Thunder. I liked Matt right away. He is an army officer, a combat veteran, an attorney and a Christian. I like all that, but what I truly like is that Matt entered the political arena to serve. He did not check his morals and convictions at the door of political expediency. From my observation, truth is something that is important to him and he is not afraid to stand up with boldness and courage to fight for the truth. I remember the oath I took to defend the constitution of these United States and from watching him over the last three years, I'd say he remembered that oath too. It also appears like he has actually read it and is defending it rather than undermining it and violating it for political expediency. I appreciate the moral conviction and courage he has been demonstrating. Now, I'd like to share with you some sage advice he just offered in his recent blog |
