We are excited to announce details for the Second Kingdom Congress(register below)! Please join us on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Renton Technical College, where we will continue the historic work we began last month to unite the body of Christ for the glory of King Jesus and the work of transformation in Washington State.
At the First Kingdom Congress, held on August 22nd at Sonrise Christian Center, more than 150 leaders from government, business, education, ministry, and other spheres gathered to exalt the name of Jesus over our state and issue a response to the Goliath-sized challenges of our day. Is there not a cause?!
Together, we made significant strides in the effort to:

From Inspiration to Activation
At the founding of our nation, the First Continental Congress served to inspire the colonists to action, but it wasn't until the Second Continental Congress that the Patriots began operating in a united, coordinated effort. Key delegates such as Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson who were not present at the first congress also joined the cause at that time.
On October 4, 2014 at the Second Kingdom Congress, we will...
There is a tyranny facing our nation today that looms as large as Goliath did when he defied the armies of Israel. The answer is the same now as it was then; a David; actually a company of David's who will rise with courage and run to meet the giants of our day.
Our nation was founded by a people who sought freedom from a government who encroached first on their religious liberties and then spilled over into other areas. When the early colonist no longer found they could redress their issues with the king, they appealed to God and heaven. This cry was formalized in an ensign when George Washington commissioned the formation of a navy to assist his army in their cause.
The attacks levied today against the family, life, and now religious freedom are clear. The situation is no less dire than in the founding of our nation and the need to appeal to heaven is urgent. God looks for a people who will respond like David did when he cried "is there not a cause?" (1 Sam 17:29)
The "Appeal to Heaven" was accompanied by the formation of a congress. A congress by its very definition is a formal meeting or assembly of representatives who gather for the discussion, arrangement, or promotion of some matter of common interest. It is a meeting; an encounter. The First Continental Congress launched a process which led to the founding of these United States.
Calling Christian Leaders from all Seven Spheres of Society
With this in mind we are calling forth the First Kingdom Conference of Washington State. We seek Christian representatives from all seven spheres of society (church, business, government, media/entertainment, healthcare, and the family) who like David, will have the courage to appeal to heaven and then act upon heavens direction.
What do we expect from this First Kingdom Congress? Recognizing that the Church is the Lord's primary purveyor of His kingdom, we expect to start a process modeled after a pattern that King David established that will lead to the:

This Passover will be marked by a very rare heavenly event: a lunar eclipse. Some have coined this a blood moon. In fact it is the first of four blood moons that will occur on the Feasts of Passover and Sukkot (Tabernacles) in 2014 and 2015. Four lunar eclipses are called a tetrad and there have only been seven recorded since 1 AD. In the last century the tetrads occurred twice. The first was associated with Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and the second was in 1967 right after the Six Day War occurred. That's remarkable don't you think?
Jesus told us about the conditions that would exist before He returns in Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. He says that there will be signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and admonishes us not to allow ourselves to allow our hearts to become weighed down with drunkenness, carousing, or the cares of this life but to rather "watch and pray." My friends, we are living in amazing times and God still has plans for the nation of Israel. Israel finds herself in very challenging times once again as peace talks have stalled and are set to expire on April 29th. Historically tetrads have always marked a time of tragedy followed by triumph for Israel.
The lunar eclipse (blood moon) is scheduled to begin at 10:58pm PDT as the moon moves into the earth shadow. The full lunar eclipse begins at 12:07am and lasts until 1:25am PDT.
If there was ever a sign in the heavens that said "watch and pray" these blood moons occurring on Passover and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) in 2014 and 2015 sure do. It is a time to pray first for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122) and then for the salvation of Israel (Romans 10:1). Then we will pray whatever our Lord shows us to pray for His Church, our community, state and our nation.
We would like to invite you to join us in a "Night Prayer Watch on Passover, April 14th." We'll begin our watch at sunset on April 14th. We are going to invite our Church to join us in our local area and we encourage you to invite your church family to gather together in homes or as a local congregation to watch and pray with us. Actually, we are going to watch not only in prayer but also with a telescope!
Here are some of the scriptures we'll be meditating upon and praying too.
Genesis 1:14 says that God set the lights in the heavens for signs and seasons. Last night (April 8th) Mars, Earth and the Sun aligned one week before the start of the first of 4 blood moons. It's almost like the planets were aligning to point to the beginning of this unusual heavenly event. The rarity of this event is off the charts (click here for APOCALYPSE NOW: Why a rare astrological event LAST NIGHT could herald the 'End of Days').
How Should We Respond?
Jesus said in Luke 21:25-36 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.... So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.... 34 "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." NKJV
Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 40:3 "Prepare the way of the Lord.... a highway for our God." John the Baptist "prepared the way" before Jesus came the first time (Matt. 3:3) and the Lord has a people who are preparing the way of the Lord for His second coming as well. They are spoken of in Isaiah 62. They are the watchmen who pray in Zion who cry out who never hold their peace (Isa. 62:1-12). They are "pre-praying" the way of the Lord and preparing a bride (Church) to meet her heavenly bridegroom.
It is April 1st about 12:30am. I'd just begun my portion of the prayer watch our church stands as part of the 24/7 prayer strategy in our community (click for ORT). I began to hear a siren. It was not a regular siren but rather reminded me of an old air raid siren. I strained to hear for I could not tell if it were an actual siren or if I were hearing it in the spirit. So I got up and stepped outside. All I could hear was a plane. No siren.
I stepped back in the house and I heard it again. The closer I got to my chair where I sat to pray the louder it got. I sat their listening to it for another four or five minutes and then it began to fade until it became very quiet. It is a spiritual warning.
In my 30 plus years of watching and praying I've never heard a sound this clear, this long and that audible for so long.
I began to ask The Lord what did the siren mean. I knew what it meant in WWII. It was an air raid siren that warned of an imminent attack by air. I did a little research and Wikipedia says; " Initially designed to warn of air raids in WW II, they were adapted to warn of nuclear attack and of natural phenomena such as tornadoes ....The "Attack" tone is the iconic, rising-falling sound of an air raid or nuclear attack frequently heard in war movies. It was once reserved for imminent enemy attack, but is today sometimes used to warn of severe weather, tsunamis, or even fire calls, depending on local ordinance."
So I asked The Lord, what does this mean and what are we supposed to do?
Declarations and proclamations are tools of government used by kings. When Jesus cleansed us by His blood He made us kings and priests unto our God. The scripture says:
And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me...
You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.
Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
1 Timothy 1:18 (Fight the good fight)
This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, NKJV
God wants us to write the vision down like the Declaration of Independence is written down and then He wants us to begin to proclaim the vision or the prophetic word God gave us. Just like the Declaration of Independence initiated a war to free our people from oppression so our declarations which have been divinely inspired declare war on our adversary the Devil and his demons. It is a war against oppression and to expand the kingdom of God (Rev. 19:11, 1 John 3:8, Matt. 6:9-12).
One way we express this is by writing down the prophetic words God gave to us through prophets and then we pray using those prophetic words. The written prophetic word becomes like the written decree of a king which must also be proclaimed (written & verbal). What follows are the declarations we are encouraging our congregation to join us in making.
James 5:16 says that the "fervent effective prayer of a righteous man avails much." This scripture reveals a few keys that links righteousness with fervency and effectiveness. Our righteousness comes from the blood of Christ which enables us to come boldly before God's throne of grace that we may find mercy and grace to help in our time of need. Righteousness sets the stage for our fervency.
Fervent means to show intensity of feeling or spirit. It can also be described as warm or even a hot passion. Effective means prayer that works. Righteousness combined with fervency creates prayer that works. Verse 17 provides us a picture of what James is saying. He refers to the prophet Elijah who prayed for rain to break a drought right after he had just confronted and defeated 450 prophets of Baal. He did this by calling fire down out of heaven to burn up his sacrifice that had been soaked in water.
If your prayer life lacks results, then maybe it is time to get fired up. That's what Elijah did. As he got fired up he brought fire down and demonstrated God's miracle working power in the face of idolatry. Elijah was a prophet with passion.
Jesus demonstrated his passion to. Zeal for God's house of prayer ate him up and caused him to drive out the merchandisers. Jesus also moved with compassion. Compassion occurs when the passion of anger comes into the presence of love. God hates sin and iniquity that hurts the people he loves. For example, Mark 3:1-6 tells the story of how Jesus healed a man with a withered hand when he was angry. Jesus went on to perform a number of supernatural miracles that was performed through compassion. That my friends is the key to prayer that works.
In the book "Developing Aposotlic Strategy" I share this powerful spiritual warfare strategy in "The Principle of Mass." This is one of the key principles that has empowered so many churches to begin to transform their communities documented in "Operation Rolling Thunder - Revised." There is truly exponential power generated when we agree. One can put a thousand to flight and two ten thousand. I want to encourage you to be like Abraham who trained his household to war for their family members (Genesis 14). This is critical to your family's destiny in Christ and you can play a very important role in building the wall of prayer in your church which can also help transform your city.
Matthew 18:19“ - Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."
Jesus sets the example for us as a king and as a priest. In Hebrews 3:1 He is called the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. In Hebrews 7:25 we see one of the functions that a priest performs. It says, " Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."
Intercession means to entreat on behalf of another person, to intercede, fight for or protect another person. We are all called to be like Jesus. He wants us to pray and intercede for others. That practice should start in the home praying for your family first. Following 1 Timothy 2:1-4 we should then intercede for all men and kings in authority that we may lead a peaceful life because God desires that all men be saved.
Simply put prayer is just communication. It involves listening and speaking. The following scriptures provide a great place to begin to learn about the different aspects of prayer.
Luke 21:36 "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Ephesians 6:18 "praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints"
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Jesus admonishes us four times in the New Testament to "watch" and "pray always." The Greek word translated "watch" litterally means to stay awake. It also means to... click Read More for the rest of the teaching bottom right.
