Chaos & the Great Awakening!

We live in historical times. In just these past two weeks we’ve seen the BrExit vote lead to Britain’s departure from the EU which slammed the world economy, our Supreme Court delivered a decision in favor of Planned Murderhood and several days ago we (Brenda, myself & Ross) were privileged to join with Franklin Graham state leaders in Olympia, our capitol, where over 7000 joined to pray that our nation would turn back to Jesus Christ as is it is in chaos. Now we have two police shootings combined with an assassin targeting 11 Dallas police officers and the chaos continues. 
 
Chaos means to be “in a state of utter confusion.” I think that pretty well sums up the conditions in our nation don’t you? Did you know that “confusion” was one of the consequences promised if a nation turned their back on God? In Deuteronomy 28 God through Moses described all of the blessings that would follow them “IF” they obeyed the voice of the Lord and starting in verse 15 he described the consequences that would follow ignoring God.  Verse 20 says, “The Lord will send upon you cursing, confusion and rebuke in all you set your hand  to…until you are destroyed…” The scripture goes on to describe being defeated in war, struck with lots of diseases, droughts, aliens will rise higher and higher and Deuteronomy 28:28 “The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.” Does this not sound familiar?  Are not hearts confused this day?
 
Confusion and chaos are the symptoms and Jesus is the cure. I agree with Franklin Graham, I have no hope in any political party nor leader except in our Lord Jesus Christ. He is our only hope! He is the Rock upon which we stand. 

So what can you do?

1. Don't give in to the lawlessness (click here for lawlessness, psychosis & the Love of God), hype and lies. The way to maintain your sanity and balance is through a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.  Spend time in His word and in His presence praying and develop your world view from His perspective. 
2. Pray; when done, pray some more.  When you don't know what to pray, pray in the spirit (Romans 8:26, Jude 20).
3. Pray with your Church, with a ministry, at a home meeting, at a prayer gathering etc. Bottom line, pray with others for their is power in agreement. If you need help developing a group click here. 
4. Be salt and light. Don't withdraw from the world but rather seek to find ways to engage it. Let your passion draw you into the sphere of society which most interests you outside the four walls of a "church" and "be the Church." Be Christ's ambassador.  Be a good ambassador by learning well what the Bible says and then allowing His word to work in and through you. Become a living epistle accurately reflecting God's word.
5. When you fail, don't quit. (Micah 7:8-11) Get back up and go again.

My friends, for the Church who does these things, I sincerely believe this will be our finest hour. Chaos has created a situation for the "real Church to arise."
