![]() Recently in my state the attack on family and the role of men and women took another step as a bathroom bill was introduced that allows men, who think or feel like a woman, that day, to enter a woman's bathroom or locker room. Click here for Washington state bathroom bill obliterates men's and women's bathrooms. Talk about deception on steroids. What's a Christian's response? I submit, love requires us to speak the truth. That's the compassionate thing to do. Click here for "Truth is Compassion." The primary tool being used in this fight is deception. It's the oldest trick in the book and its been identified as a primary tool in these last days. Let's take a look at what Jesus said. Matthew 24:9-14 provides a peek into the conditions of society in the last days. It says (bold for emphasis), " Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. I wrote an article a few years ago about "Lawlessness, Psychosis & the Love of God." It revealed that the lack of God's love leads to psychotic behavior. There is an unholy trifecta between deception, lawlessness and the decline of real love. Let's take a look at the role of deception and ways it is expressing itself in society today. In the scripture above it says "many false prophets will rise up and deceive many." The Strongs Concordance describes the word "deceive" as a means to roam from the truth, to go astray, seduce, lead aside from the right way, to be in error, sin, to fall away, and to be of a heretic. A prophet is a fore-teller or a spokesman for God; in this case a false god.
My wife asked me to stop by a 2nd hand store yesterday. While she was looking at things I went to the book section and a title caught my eye. "Godless by Ann Coulter. It's subtitle "The Church of Liberalism." As I contemplated that title I agreed but then, did not agree. There are some who adamantly insist they are godless. But the truth is, not really. For Satan will take any worship not directed to God for himself. While they may proudly declare they are godless, the truth is, they are not. They serve a false god. They've been deceived into thinking they are not when they really do. How do I know? Its because people act like their father. In John 8:44 Jesus says "you are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you do..." He goes on to describe murder, lies and deception. Today we have a growing number of false prophets in my nation. But, they are not recognized as such because Satan is crafty. Let's exchange the term prophet for spokesman. For example, who is the spokesman for:
Deception is a key tool in their arsenal. For example, a strategy of deception that is linked to the bathroom bill in my state was laid out in the book After the Ball for the homosexual community. The book blatantly addresses the issue of deceiving the populace. In other words, they knowingly undermine truth. With the help and funding of financiers like George Soros about 25 organizations were formed to attack this issue from a variety of angles over the last 25 years. These organizations became platforms for their false prophets as they sought to undermine God's design for men, women and families. Deception - the oldest trick in the book Now, let's take another look at deception in the Bible. First, deception is a tool of the Devil. In fact, it is the oldest trick in the book (Genesis 3). 2 Corinthians 11:3-4 "But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted —you may well put up with it!" Deception and persecution go hand in hand Consider the context of the deception this day and the fact that the persecution of Christians is now the highest in centuries. It should come as no surprise that deceit is growing exponentially as well. The Bible already warned us. 2 Timothy 3:12-13 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. We can deceive ourselves The wisdom of this world is not wisdom at all. It is deception. We need to be careful for it is possible for us to be our own worst enemy when it comes to the truth. 1 Corinthians 3:18-19 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness"; These are the people Satan targets with deception Deception is used to keep people from enjoying the benefits found in God's kingdom. Please take note that while I've used a current situation in my state to focus attention on deception, know that fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, thieves, covetous, drunkards, and extortioners are in the same boat as homosexuals and sodomites. Ultimately Satan hates what God loves. God loves people therefore Satan seeks to destroy that which God loves. The more the Devil can deceive the more people he can hurt and destroy. Everyone of these acts listed HURT the practitioners or other people. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God So what's the solution? We need to know Jesus and live in His word. John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, " If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

This is a word in due season.May all who read it realize the deception and the battle we are engaged in . Many do not even know the rules of engagement, may the body of Christ find the truth, and the truth make them free. Comments are closed.
