How One Teacher's Prayer Dramatically Impacted Test Scores for a Whole School

6/6/2016

How many times have you day dreamed of what could be in your business, school, or profession for the sake of Christ?  Sometimes it can get kind of exciting. But then doubts begin to creep in to kill the vision and you think well what difference would one person make?  What difference could I make?

I want to share with you a short testimony from a teacher who began working with us following the 1Church1Day.org strategy. Now I don't know if she struggled with thoughts like this but in years past I know I did. In order to protect what God is doing I'm not going to share with you who she is nor which school we are talking about.  We actually receive many testimonies from kingdom minded ministers making an impact in business, high levels of government, education, the Church and more that if we shared with you the details it would destroy that minister's effectiveness.

With that in mind here's a recent report we received from a teacher regarding the dramatic turn around in the areas of literacy and math declaring:

This progress is very praise worthy. We have never seen such growth.
This teacher has been a teacher for over 25 years. She loves them and she loves Jesus. She's been praying for her students for years but this year she did something different.
She learned about 1Church1Day and heard of the testimonies. She invited us to meet with the principal and assistant-principal to discover what to pray.  They described their great challenges as the children they served were special needs. This is where the process began.  You see, these results are not based upon one event as much as it is based upon the decision of one person who had authority in a specific sphere within a specific school who invited us (the Church) in to pray.

They opened the door and by doing so honored the gift of God that He sent through the Church. One of the prayer targets were the student's test scores. We were invited in and began to pray just before Thanksgiving in the fall of 2015. Within just one week the assistant-principal reported about a major shift that occurred when one troublesome committee member who always seemed to have a very negative attitude which affected everyone else suddenly resigned. It really helped replace a negative atmosphere with one that was more upbeat and filled with hope.

Of course the teacher who initiated this continued to pray and reported back as things progressed. We prayed accordingly. You know there is power in agreement and when you honor God's gifts and His truths regarding jurisdictions we've learned that the effects of our efforts are greatly magnified such as in this case where our teacher reported this with the accompanying graph to illustrate the impact.
Here is another graph of the progress our students have made in the area of literacy and math. 90% of our students can rhyme. This is an absolute first.  Very exciting! God is good.

Glory to Jesus! You know I love that because this measures the impact our prayers can make.

In this case this illustrates the impact one Christian teacher's decision to pray and then put her faith into action motivated by love and combined with the wisdom and power found through the 1Church1Day strategy. Her decision impacted a school with 500 students.
