![]() I just returned from Kansas where I shared the revelation the Lord gave about "how to chart your course in this new era." There were two key revelations the Lord shared within that message. First, the results of this last election make it clear that the moral compass of the Church has deviated away from the truth (click here for the report from Life News) so far that a large segment of the Church chose to vote for candidates that advocated the murder of unborn children. They obviously don't realize the consequences for the nation that sheds innocent blood (Lev. 18) or introduces legislation that destroys the family while promoting sexually deviate behavior that ultimately hurts people. The Bible teaches us about eternal laws that are in place that work like the law of gravity. Gravity works whether in believe in it or not. Just go jump off a cliff and you'll see what I mean. There are eternal laws that work the same way. Our nation is reaping the consequences of the choices we are making as a people. Compassion dictates that we desperately need our moral compass adjusted so that we can speak the truth in love. Second, the Lord is raising the Papa Flag. A Papa Flag is raised when a ship in port is recalling all sailors to the ship. The Lord has raised the Papa Flag because He is recalling all saints to His "apostle ship." There is a principle in God's word: first the natural and then the spiritual (1 Cor. 15:26). Here is the revelation that Lord revealed to me about how the natural compass relates to our moral compass. A compass is used with a map to indicate direction. It is a critical piece of equipment in navigation. If the compass is in error then you will end up in a different place that you originally planned. The key is, does the compass point to magnetic north or does it point to true north? ![]() The compass that points to magnetic north is being affected by magnetic forces in the earth. The error these forces introduce is called "deviation." Deviation is a departure from a standard or norm. Deviation is corrected by adjusting the compass to point to true north. True north can be determined by taking a bearing off of a known heavenly object like the sun. So it is today! The moral compass of the Church is being affected by deviant forces in the earth. This deviation causes the Church to stray off the narrow way. The only way to correct this deviation is taking our bearing off the Son; the Word of God. It's time to test our moral compass. Look at where you are today? How does your destination today line up with God's word. A look at the last election shows a large segment of the Church chose a president who advocates the murder of the unborn. Had the Church as a whole allowed God's word to dictate their actions our nation would be in a very different place. The question is, how does your decisions compare to God's word? The only way to know for sure is to take a bearing off the Son of God. He is the heavenly body that you can take a "true bearing" off of. Then you can compare your choices and actions to His word and see how you "relate" to His word. Jesus is the key to navigating the narrow way as we journey on the way to our eternal destiny. I pray that God give you wisdom and grace to adjust your moral compass to ensure it lines up with God's Holy Word. John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:23-24 - Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. Hebrews 12:1-2 - Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Psalm 119:105 - Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Matthew 7:13-14 - "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
