Is there enough evidence to convict you?

Imprisoned for Christ in Iran

I received an email this morning from one of our partners in ministry about Mostafa who accepted our Lord Jesus Christ in 2009.  Click here for  the full story from a ministry sponsored by the Voice of the Martyrs.  

He was recently imprisoned in Iran because they accused him of:

• Being involved in Christian evangelical activities and holding underground worship services
• Water baptism
• Attendance in a house church
• Providing evangelical material to other believers
• Dubbing 5 movies to be used in evangelism
• A clear confession to the court that he converted to Christianity
• Confession that he distributed 12,000 Bibles
• Discovered with more than 6000 Bibles, CDs, and other books related to Christianity in his house

My thought was, "Lord, is there enough evidence to convict me of being a Christian?"  

Is there enough evidence to convict you?



Revelation 2:1-6   "To the angel of the church of Ephesus write,

'These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:  2 "I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;  3 and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name's sake and have not become weary.  4 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.  5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place — unless you repent. NKJV
