Raise the Roof Project Update!

I'm happy to report that on July 28th Apostle Nani provided us this report with thanksgiving to God and for those who contributed to the "Raise the Roof" project.  Here is a little video and some pictures from the building. 

It's not complete, but it has a roof on it which was so needed especially during the monsoon season. This roof is built in such a way so in the future we can add a second floor for offices and classrooms.  This building will also serve as the headquarters for 1Church1Day in India.  

Stewardship
The weather posed a constant challenge.  At one point the rain and flooding threatened to ruin some of the material left over from the "Raise the Roof" project.  So they re-purposed some of the iron and concrete and installed a floor at their sister church about 1 mile away.  

I'm really thankful because  this is the location where we did the pastor's conference last November.  The floor was hardened mud.  Ever since I had my bunions operated on, my feet have been really sensitive and frankly, the hard mud floor hurt my feet.  So, I thought this was a GREAT use of the material.  We plan to return and minister there in 2017.

So through Apostle Nani's leadership and the work of Jesus Christ Prayer House, they(we) were able to serve two congregations.
