The Call to Prayer Sweeping the Nation

Holy Spirit has been orchestrating a call to prayer for His Church in this season. It's an expression of Joel 2:15-17: 

Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation,  Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. Let the priests, who minister to the Lord, Weep between the porch and the altar; Let them say, " Spare Your people, O Lord,
And do not give Your heritage to reproach, That the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, ' Where is their God? '"

Here is a look at ​some of the ways Christ is moving calling His people to pray.

• Decision America - call to repentance by Franklin Graham started in 2016
• United Cry - called 30,000 leaders to pray in Washington DC on April 9.
• Azusa Now - called 100,000 to pray in California on April 9
• National Day of Repentance - April 30th 
• Australia calls for Prayer & Fasting for America - April 30 through May 5
• National Day of Prayer - May 5th 
• Global Day of Prayer - May 15th (10 days of 24/7 prayer precedes it)

As this crescendo of prayer has grown revivals in the Church have begun to breakout.

• Westcoast Rumble - (San Diego to Seattle)
• West Virginia Revival 

What's next?

My friends, this is just the start. I encourage you to "pray and obey." Be involved where Christ directs you.  You cannot be everywhere, do everything nor know everything. But you can do your part. Ephesians 4:16 says,

"from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."

Expect the calls to prayer to grow. These events are milestones in the history of the body of Christ. Events are very important and strategic. But events are ..... events. God is looking for a habitation, a place where He is welcomed continually. This is where the 1Church1Day strategy comes in.  That's our part. 

Expect revival to grow. But revival is for a purpose. It is to revive the Church to her purpose and that my friends is to represent the gospel of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to receive a harvest of souls for our Lord and King Jesus Christ. 

​Expect a harvest! Pray for a harvest, work for a harvest like we've never seen. Jesus is worthy.
