This New Era Was Made for Us!

Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. NKJV

On November 14th I sent out a newsletter titled "Charting the Course for Your Destiny in this New Era."  On the same day Charisma posted an article from Chuck Pierce titled "The Election Has Brought a New Era."  Needless to say "era" caught my attention.

Era means a period of time marked by a distinctive character or a period of time to which anything belongs or is assigned. 

Think about Psalm 139:16!  These days were made for us.  We were made for these days.  Out of all eternity God could have chosen you and I to live at anytime but He chose now!  Great trials present great opportunity. 

Joel 2 describes a people who come forth upon this earth whom the world has never seen and it occurs during "the day of the Lord."  It is a day of darkness and gloominess but in that context or horrible times a people come "great and strong like of whom has never been."  A fire devours before them and behind them a flame burns.  They are encompassed by God's presence as scripture declares God is a consuming fire.  This is the army of the Lord.  Verse five says they are a "strong people set in battle array."  It says "The Lord gives voice before His army for His camp is very great; for strong is the one who executes His word."

I have to confess, while I was disappointed by these elections, I am very excited about what Christ is doing.  These days were made for you and I.  As I read Chuck's article I got even more excited because so much of what he said is so similar to what the Lord showed me.  I'll highlight a few things Chuck said and summarize it with what the Lord showed me was the key for an overcomer in these times.

The goal of my article is to encourage the church, leaders, ministers, and CONECTers who serve with me.  I want them to see how we are playing a part in bringing these prophetic declarations into reality.

With this in mind let me make some important observations.

1. Our adversary the Devil and his hoards do not actually create anything new.  They are deceivers and seek to distort the truth. That is why Satan can appear as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14), there is an Anti-Christ, false apostles, false prophets and false teachers (1 Jn 4:3, 2 Cor 11:13, Mk 13:22, 2 Pet 2:1).
   
2.  The very presence of the false indicates that God has already provided the true.  The true already exists. 
   
3. The litmus test for the true is character and we are admonished to prove or test all things (Rev. 2:2, 1 Thess 5:21, Matt 7:15-20) and hold fast to the true.
   

In Chuck's article the following phrases jumped out at me as they highlight what the Lord spoke to me and of which we were already acting upon.  I encourage you to read Chuck's articles as I'll focus on how we are already moving to put our faith into action. (click here for the whole article).

Triumphant Reserve
During my service in the Navy during the first Gulf War God spoke to me about what was to come about the mobilization of the army of the Lord.  Everything we have done since then has been to prepare to mobilize the body of Christ as the army of the Lord.  We foresaw the day when Joel 2 would become a reality.  Blow the trumpet in Zion for the day of the Lord is at hand.  It is a day of darkness but a people come forth great and strong like of whom the world has never seen.  A fire devours before them and behind them a flame burns.  They are a strong people set in battle array.  Everyone marches in formation, they do not break ranks.  The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble, the sun and moon grow dark.  The Lord gives voice before His army for strong is the one who executes His word. 

This is the remnant.  These are the overcomers spoken of in Revelation.  This is the triumphant reserve.  These will come out of Zion. How are we helping and mobilize this "triumphant reserve?"  Click here for the mobilization strategy Operation Rolling Thunder.

Communication System
Chuck emphasized the enemy's communication system and how it networked major demonic structures.  Remember, the demonic can only copy and then proceeds to twist the real.  God used my service in the Navy has my seminary.  During Desert Storm and through my time taking courses from the Navy War College I learned about an important principle of war; the principle of communication.  Beginning in 1992 God began to show me how to incorporate a strategic communication plan called CONECT (Christian Outreach Network Establishing City-wide Teamwork).  It was designed for the time when the body of Christ would be connected by vision/mission (ie. transforming a certain city) rather than by denomination.  It facilitates the handling of spiritual intelligence (prophetic words, dreams, visions, and research) so that strategic leaders (apostles and prophets) can develop God's plan to transform their respective communities through the presentation of the gospel of the kingdom in power with signs and wonders following.  This strategic communication plan underlies Operation Rolling Thunder, KLI and all that we do.  Click here to see some of the results. Communication like this enhances corporate teamwork and the ability to project power to enforce the will of King Jesus.

Jesus taught us to pray "on earth as it is in heaven."  CONECT is a way for us to put faith in action with wisdom based upon the ancient pattern reflected in the heavenlies. 

Covenant
The natural military has discovered some of the biblical principles that Yahweh Sabbaoath authored click here for the 8 major principles of war.  They've also harnessed the power of covenant.  That is why they can take an 18 year old and transform them into a soldier or sailor in 12 to 16 weeks.  The Lord showed us that covenant or actually the lack of covenant (breaking of covenant) was a real challenge in these times.  It seems like the Church as a whole uses the word but few actually practice it.  The word covenant can also be translated confederacy or league.  That is why He called us as "Kingdom League International" and why we've taken steps to help every member of KLI demonstrate the five elements of covenant.  Covenantal faithfulness is critical to our successful presentation of the gospel of the kingdom today. 

Apostolic Centers
Chuck said in his article that "However, He showed me that His remnant was building new freedom outposts or apostolic centers and that these Centers will be used to produce a threefold generational Kingdom Advancement."   In December 2007 the Lord spoke to me saying "as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be before the coming of the Son of Man.  I had Noah build and ark and I want you to be Me an ARC, an Apostolic Resource Center.  In fact, I don't want just one ARC but I want a fleet of ARCs. 

The ARC that I see combines the characteristics of Noah's ark (saved a family and ultimately the world) and the Ark of the Covenant (type of the presence of God which led Israel to victory and into the Promised Land).  Click here for a fuller description of what God showed me.  Every city that followed King David's pattern in setting up Zion could establish an ARC in their city.  This truth is intertwined with Operation Rolling Thunder.   

On April 1, 2009 I spoke at a conference in Colorado where I shared many testimonies from Operation Rolling Thunder (ORT) and how that God had marked the message many times with supernatural signs and wonders to encourage us to continue with His strategy (ORT).  I had just returned from Alaska where a ministry called "Freedom in Christ" in the North Pole had invited me to speak there an in Fairbanks.  God marked my arrival with volcanic activity on my first day, the second day with a 2.2 earthquake 4.2 miles south-southwest of our meeting (the text for the meeting that day was Isaiah 2:2 and Micah 4:1-2) and the day we left was marked by the eruption of Mount Redoubt.  Redoubt is of French origin and means stronghold or refuge.  The text of my message on the last day of our ministry included 2 Samuel 5:7 and Isaiah 4:3-6 where Zion is described as a stronghold and a refuge.  I also testified how that thundersnow marked an ORT Kick Off in 2007.   Within one hour my hosts showed me on their smart phone how that thundersnow was just recorded in the area.  Click here for a video excerpt from that day.

Chuck was the next speaker and he was not in the room when I spoke.  During his message he highlighted the triumphant reserve and how God was establishing "freedom outposts."  He was unaware that I had just returned from Alaska hosted by Freedom in Christ in North Pole Alaska.  Besides the volcanic activity and the earthquake, God even used the very name of the Church who invited me as a sign. 

In KLI we seek to model what the Lord showed us to build as an ARC. This blueprint is based upon what the Lord showed me. In one sense it is a new wineskin.  But in reality it is only new to us.  It is based upon an ancient pattern established in the heavenlies upon which King David expressed in Zion and in the City of David.  We seek to prove the pattern and provide it to others to help them build ARC's in their city.  My Father does not want one ARC, He wants a fleet of ARCs.  Click here to see how ORT is helping one city establish an ARC.

New Prophetic Intercessory Movement
Over the last two decades there has been a powerful prayer movement.  In the last decade an emphasis on what some call the seven mountains has arisen.  Operation Rolling Thunder has been at the forefront pioneering a new way that harnesses the momentum from these to movements.  It gathers the elders at the gates of a city to form strategic councils in all 7 spheres while simultaneously  mobilize 24/7 prayer local church by local church.  We have helped connect the body of Christ from Catholic to Charismatic and from Pentecostal to Presbyterian while establishing city wide prayer.  The communication strategy God provided us to train CONECTers with is the key to our effective stewardship of strategic intelligence and the projection of power.  The results are supernatural and measurable.  Why?  Because we provide a way for the Church in a city or region to occupy the territory after victory is won in spiritual war.   The key to the results is the same key God gave to King David.  Click here to learn about this on Jan 25-26 during the Key of David conference in Renton WA.

New Battle Fields
One of the new battle fields that Chuck highlighted had the Church in America taking on the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) and other governmental systems. The core issues deal with proper jurisdiction within governmental realms.  Forseeing the same thing Chuck saw led to the restructuring of our ministry.  Originally Watchman Ministries International was a 501c3 (non-profit corporation).  A 501c3 was created by the state.  What you create you have the right and ability to legislate.  The Church was founded by Jesus Christ.  Our system of government includes roles like apostle, prophet, elders and bishops not president, vice-president etc.  Therefore we were led to shut down our 501c3 and establish Kingdom League International as a Church and an association of churches and ministries under the First Amendment.  Click here for 501c3 vs Church.

We did this because the Church in our nation lost its voice.  We were no longer a moral compass. Since we've done this I have spoken on a number of moral issues in politics and actively engaged in mobilizing the church to pray and act for the sake of righteousness.  One of those battles was called "Pulpit Freedom Sunday."  We were one of 1600+ churches which took part in this strategy this year.  Charisma published the results in IRS Surrenders: Time for Churches to Get Political. 

KLI forces have already engaged the adversary in this new battle field. 

New Wineskin
Wineskin deals with government.  The new wineskin is not actually new.  It is an ancient pattern.  It is just new to us.  Through Operation Rolling Thunder we've been helping gather the elders at the gates of cities so they can direct the prayer and strategic action the Church takes to re-present the gospel of the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ to their city.  ORT empowers the Church in a city or region to establish 24/7 prayer, connect the Church and gather strategic leaders into 12 councils representing the 7 spheres of society and the five fold ministry.  This is a key element in any ARC (councils of elders and 24/7 prayer, praise and worship).   Click here for the details of KLI's New Wineskin.  Click here for a recent example of how we've helped leaders in a city form a new wineskin.

Shift Into Kingdom Alignment
In Ezekiel 37 the body of Christ is likened unto the army of the Lord.  The army of the Lord needs to be connected like a body is connected.  Psalm 22:14 and Proverbs 25:19 teach us how painful it is and how weak a body is when the bones are out of joint.  Once the bones are properly aligned then the sinew can keep the bones in place as it supports the life (muscle and skin) that grows around it.  Operation Rolling Thunder is a strategy that helps align the bones and sets up churches to have the connective tissue (covenant and a strategic communication plan - CONECT) put into place. When done correctly, once the connections are made, the life that occurs quickly covers the bones and that body raises us as an exceeding great and mighty army (Ezk. 37:10).

My friends, God uses Chuck in a number of ways (apostle, prophet, teacher) and one of those ways is as a international prophet. I receive him in that way.  He gives Him words for nations in the world as well has his own nation.  It is my hope that the Church, ministers, CONECTers, our Davidic Company and all who co-labor with me will be encouraged. We are one of the ones God has called to pioneer new concepts with apostolic wisdom and courage drawn from deep love for our Lord Jesus Christ and His affection for mankind.  He desires that none should perish.

You and I have been brought forth into the kingdom for such a time as this.  These days were made for us and we were made for these days.  Lord, I pray, help us to hit the mark for the assignment you have given us personally and corporately.  If anyone is not properly aligned in covenant with where you want them I pray you move them quickly to that place for the sake of their destiny, the building of Your Church, the presentation of Your kingdom, and for Your glory, in Jesus mighty name.
