_Dear KLI leaders, Davidic Company, CONECTers and friends of WMI, Oct 2, 2011
Happy new year. We’ve remembered the Feasts of Trumpets and we are in the middle of the Days of Awe leading up to the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). We have just entered into the Jewish Calendar’s new year of 5772.
_The days of awe are a time for us to inspect our lives, motives, attitudes, and actions. It is a time where we discover if there is anyone with whom we need to ask forgiveness of, mend a relationship etc. Is there anyone we need to forgive? (Matt 6:14) It is a time of repentance. It is a time to seek the Lord. These feasts pointed to Jesus who fulfills all things and by remembering the feasts it helps us remember the marvelous things Christ has done for us. I am so very thankful He atoned for my sins by the blood He shed for me and for you.
The Day of Atonement is on Oct 8th (Yom Kippur). The Feasts of Tabernacles (also known as the feasts of Ingathering) begins on Oct 13th and lasts 7 days. It was the end of harvest and a time where the first fruit offerings and the tithes were freely and joyfully given in worship. Tabernacles means booths and it was intended to remind Israel of the 40 years in the wilderness and their transition into taking the promised land.
The Lord has already led us to sow a First Fruit offering and we are excited because of His covenant promise (Proverbs 3:9-10). It’s a key to filling your barns with plenty and causing your vats to overflow with new wine. I encourage you to prayerfully consider praying and asking the Lord where He would have you sow a First Fruit offering. Exercise your faith when you do.
It is not an accident that Kingdom League International’s first public ministry is begins with a prayer meeting on Oct 14th and an all day service on Oct 15th. I did not plan this to coincide with the feasts but I prayed and obeyed the leading of our Lord. This is His schedule. http://www.kingdomleague.org/are-you-prepared.html This is a time of transition and celebration as Watchman Ministries International was just now beginning to enter its 20th year of ministry and now it has turned into a Kingdom League. It was during this month 20 years ago that we received two prophetic words in Israel which launched us into the ministry. Thank the Lord we only had to spend 20 years in the wilderness now we are transitioning into the promised land. It is a time to enter into the promises of our Lord. With that in mind the Lord shared this word for me with you. It is a blessing for you. I heard our Father say regarding you………… “May the Lord…..”
Ps 20:1-8 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright. NKJV
Ps 115:14-15 May the Lord give you increase more and more, You and your children. May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
1 Thess 3:12 And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you, NKJV
2 Thess 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
2 Tim 2:7 Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
