![]() Brenda Taylor 2/18/15: At work my responsibility is to promote our customer training classes and ensure we reach more than the minimum number of enrollments. If the minimum number of enrollments is not reached I have to cancel the class. Recently, one of my classes was one enrollment shy of the minimum at the cancellation deadline. The two students registered had gone through a lengthy process internally to get authorization to attend so I did not want to cancel the class. I just needed one more enrollment so I submitted a request to waive the minimum and confirm the class. My request was approved and the next day during my drive into the office I prayed for more enrollments and was impressed with the number 6. Six is twice the minimum number of total enrollments needed. A word of knowledge? Possibly. After praying I extended my faith to believe for the enrollments to reach twice the minimum. I began to declare and call forth four more registrations for the class. The class ran with eight students. I received six more enrollments. My word of knowledge was for six more enrollments, not six total! That is measurable results. I believe the company I work for and my specific department should be blessed because I work there. Faith and working diligently produces measurable results. The company sets targets for each employee so our managers can measure our success. Being able to measure our success helps to keep our focus and determine where to make adjustments along the way. Each target can be broken down into smaller targets to help measure how we are doing. Each class that reaches more than the minimum helps to reach the larger goal (target). When I accomplish my targets the department is successful.
