Recently we received an email from Deborah who is part of our Davidic Company.  She was excited to share a vision inspired through prayer to use her passion for education to impact people in a crime ridden area of her city as part of a city-wide team. Here's the vision she share with me and I'd like to invite you to read, share and pray as well.

"Prayer is essential, but people demonstrating faith in action motivated by love and founded in wisdom is required. I appreciate the example Deborah and the saints in Spokane are setting." - Tim Taylor  - Deborah's vision follows.

Developing a Learning Center at Off-Broadway Family Outreach in Spokane

Off-Broadway is a street ministry in the lowest income area in the Spokane region in what was formerly known as “Felony Flats”.  After recently meeting three of the OBFO (:  http://obfo-spokane.com/) volunteers at a Prayer Conference, I was led to develop a Tutoring/Learning Center there.  God gave me a Dream years ago about opening up Tutoring & accredited Learning Centers in the Spokane area to reach out to the lost.  In this Dream, children, youth and adults could come to a safe, loving environment to learn and grow.  In addition to receiving tutoring, youth and adults could earn high school credits and a diploma in the accredited Learning Center.  Traumatized children and youth could continue their education in a unique and caring way until they can transition into other programs.  Middle school students can get a “jump start” on their high school credits during summer school, which may mean a difference of staying in school or dropping out.  Working with Off-Broadway to stop the cycle of failure and hopelessness that permeates our city is part of that Dream.  This is a God-sized Dream.  We need your prayers for God’s favor and protection in making this Dream a reality!

Thank you!
