Urgent Prayer Alert for Washington State Schools

New threat triggers alert at Kent Meridian High

This is a kingdom prayer alert regarding the threat of violence against our children and our schools in Washington State. We have mobilized 1Church1Day's participating churches and invite you to pray with us. (See www.1Church1Day.org for more info.)

Since the shooting at Marysville-Pilchuck High School there has been an increase in the threats of violence up and down the I-5 corridor of our state as reported in the following articles:

Let us pray with these scriptures in mind as history is in the hands of the intercessor. 

• Ezekiel 22:30 - So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.  (Let heaven's history record that this day God found us)

• Isaiah 60:18 - Violence shall no longer be heard in your land,  Neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; But you shall call your walls Salvation, And your gates Praise.
  

• Isaiah 49:25 -  But thus says the Lord:  "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,  And the prey of the terrible be delivered;  For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 

• 2 Corinthians 3:16 speaks of a veil over blind eyes.  Let us pray the veil be lifted so that more may come to know the Lord and..... Hebrews 8:11-12  None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.  12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."  NKJV
