Family's Finances Blessed

Just last year, the financial foundation of a family in the KLI Renton church was feeling flimsy, but, at the turn of 2013 God has begun to show His faithfulness in their lives, as they have also remained faithful to Him. Lori says, "My business, The Scribe Source, started 2013 with a new contract. I'm excited for this contract, as my previous contact at this organization left and I was worried I would not hear from the new director. Well, I did, and it's a great start for the year!" But as it turns out, Lori's work through this organization in the past has not just resulted in a financial benefit-- this is an opportunity for mighty kingdom victories! This organization is responsible for developing literature for foster youth in WA state, and previously, Lori had been able to influence them that they should not include language telling young women they had a right to an abortion. "I considered it a great Kingdom victory, as this booklet is seen by thousands of youth throughout our state." She adds. This contract, along with her husband Ben's steady income from now being on active duty with the Army helps their family to beginning 2013 in a much better place. "Thank you, Lord! Tim Taylor had a foot surgery last year, and, long story short, the doctor's office and the insurance company had some real challenges, such that they refused to pay $5000 worth of the last surgery to remove the screws from his foot. After nine months of the two companies fighting over it, the insurance refused to pay. The doctor's office called to report what happened, and then said that they felt bad about it and chose to forgive 80% of the bill. Praise the Lord!

Provision that Answers Prayer
Newly installed staff members at KLI Renton began to send out missionary support letters three weeks ago, and also, agreeing together with Tim, they prayed that God would not only raise their monthly support, but send an extra $1000 to help them move into their new apartment. So far, they have received $940 beyond their one-month budget! Glory to Jesus! This same couple also reported that their energy company that normally requires a two month deposit, for some amazing reason, chose to waive it in their case! Glory to God! The KLI church in a third-world country where Kingdom League is serving has recently began to give a regular tithe. This was a first step for the leadership of this congregation and network, but the Lord quickly encouraged their faith and showed what benefits of covenant there are when we follow His ancient paths.
The first month they gave $30, and trusted the Lord. By the next month, this had more than doubled, and their tithe was $70! This month (Feb 2013,) it has increased again. There are laws God has set up that just work-- and the blessing the Lord can give you when you honor the tithe is one of them. This principal works no matter where you are-- from biblical Israel, to east Asia, to the USA. For another testimony of the faithfulness of God with the Tithe, see below! |
