Washington State Prayer Targets for July

A 2016 Prayer Event in Olympia

By Tim Taylor July 5, 2022 - Today I had the privilege of hosting the Washington State Apostolic and Prophetic Council with leaders from around the state giving input.  They represent various streams and denominations.  Some are in business, others are running for office, others are in the education system while others are at work in Olympia.   The goal of these deliberations is to understand the situation and see what our heavenly Father desires His Church to pray, proclaim and do.  These are the results from this month.

Church Sphere 
Observation – The need for the restoration of David’s tabernacle (24/7 prayer, praise and worship) interacting and working with leaders from the 7 spheres of society has never been greater. 

Let us pray and proclaim

It is time to sound the alarm & issue the call to pray.

​ 

• Isaiah 51:9 ... Awake awake put on strength....
  • Pray that ministers, the pulpit would awake first and embrace a Biblical worldview. 
• Let the real Church arise, pray, and build our Father's house of prayer, even as they go out into all the world to preach and demonstrate the gospel of the kingdom that lives and communities might be transformed where heaven meets earth.
• We petition the Lord for the identity of the Church. We declare that she will be awakened to her worth, value, and authority.
  • Ephesians 3:16 -19 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
• We declare that those who are called into the various mountain top battlefields would recognize the need for support from the church, in particular the need to be covered in prayer by seasoned prayer warriors.
  • Matthew 16:18-19  And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.  And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
• We declare a remnant has risen and is growing in strength and numbers. This remnant is equipped to destroy the works of the Devil at the gates of Hell. This company includes both those who understand how to function in spiritual battle and those who are equipped to manifest the Kingdom of God on earth through engagement in the gates of authority on the earth.
  • We declare the veil is being lifted off of the hearts of unbelievers in the Church and that more and more receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • That people would do 2 Timothy 3:5 and depart from local congregations who have a form of godliness but deny the power.
  • We call forth churches who’ll judge prophetic words (1 Corinthians 14:29 & Matthew 7:15-20) and then pray and act in faith-based upon God’s word while rejecting and correcting those in error.
• Ephesians 6:12  For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
• Matthew 6:9-10 In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven

• Proverbs 16:6-8 In mercy and truth  Atonement is provided for iniquity  And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.   7 When a man's ways please the LORD,   He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. 8 Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.
• We call forth the gift of faith and healing in these days.

Family Sphere
Observation: It seems as if families have been hit with quite a bit of sickness.  Many remain sick and continue to turn to our corrupted medical system first rather than the Great Physician, God, Himself.  Yahweh-Rapha, the LORD our Healer. Let us pray and proclaim:

• That Christians biblically learn to respond to sickness & disease with believing the promises & resisting with the Word in faith & believing.  2Co.1:20 "For as many as be the promises of God, in Him they are yes...  He.10:23 "He who promised is faithful." And from last month 3John 2, 1Pe.2:24 & Revelation 12:11.
• Families would seek the Lord first for healing & direction of seeking medical care unless it is an emergency. then pray as you go!  Math. 6:33 "But seek first the His kingdom & His righteousness; & all these things shall be added to you."  James 5:14 "Is anyone among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the church, & let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;"               
• Safety during the summer activities
• Courage to use this time to tell others about Christ
• Drawn deeper to the Lord during camps, sports, and general activities.
• Daily devotions become the desire of the entire family.  That the kids will be drawn to the Word of God, by the Spirit of God.
• That sports and summer activities will be seen as opportunities to grow closer as a family as well as grow closer to Jesus.  That revival will start in the hearts of the children.
• That the camps have revivals of the word of God being real.  That the presence of God would break out. That as they have fun, they will see who their heavenly father is.
• That families have closeness to each other, that they really communicate about real things.  That parents listen to what their children are saying, so they can guide them spiritually.
• That parents find ways to live their faith in front of their children each and every day.  That they would use life to connect the dots for their kids to the very Spirit of God.
• Regarding mental health we pray that people would return to their right minds and have their minds renewed by God’s word.  (Romans 12:2, Mark 5:15). 

Education Sphere 
Observation:  The education system in our state is experiencing seedtime and harvest.  Many teachers are worn out and leaving the profession.  The untruths have fostered confusion, lawlessness, etc. that is reflected in unruly staff meetings, ignoring laws and well-established moral boundaries which are also reflected in the unruliness and lack of respect for authority displayed by students.  Let us pray and proclaim:

• The light of Christ is shined in our public education system and darkness and all of its evil ideas and policies is overturned and sanity is restored.
• There are teachers called to serve in the public education system who’ll be like a prophet declaring truth, holding a standard of righteousness and restoring appropriate boundaries and stewardship. 
• That the misuse of funds and the layers of bureaucracy that have been introduced through corrupt ideas is corrected and good administration and stewardship return to the system. 
• A multipronged attack against untruth, fraud, waste and abuse in our public education system would include a focus on private schools, homeschools and public schools.  
  • We pray God give each wisdom.
  • For wise, courageous, godly teachers and administrators to go into public education to restore truth and sanity in the curriculum and operations. 
• God would give kingdom minded teachers grace to serve and on the rest we pray for a great awakening. 
• The state vaccine mandate would be lifted. 
• The minds of educators are changed to reflect truth (Rom 12:1-3) and or these educators are replaced by educators whose minds have been renewed by God's word.
• Sanity, honor and lawfulness returns to establish order and righteous boundaries that reflect the truth of God's word. 
• Teachers and educators wake up to the origins of educational content that is godless, Marxists, socialist, or demonic in origin and stand up and proclaim truth. 
• That teacher's unions and associations would be loosed from the grip of those leading with a Marxist socialist godless ideology. 
• Pray for private schools to NOT give up their rights and allow civil government to overstep its authority. 
• Parents would rise up to hold their school boards and superintendents accountable. 
• As parents engage, may they draw close to the Lord seeking Him for wisdom, knowledge and truth to accompany their involvement.  
• That a network of parents would form behind leaders and organizations such as https://myfamilymychoice.org/ or https://commonsensesexed.com/.
• Parents will look beyond surface issues and look at the core curriculum issues and values and make choices to care for their children through options other than public school unless they are called to send their children as a witness and that they would send them well equipped to be a witness.

Health Sphere
Observation.  A member of our apostolic council is also on the board of a local hospital district.  He observes how the administrators look at this strictly as a business.  The attitude is sickness is good for business.  Let us pray and proclaim:

•  Board members are replaced by those who'll be motivated by the noble goal of health rather than profit. 
• The hypocritic oath is replaced by those who'll actually honor the Hippocratic Oath. 
• That people would seek to improve health through diet, exercise etc... rather than just relying upon a drug or surgery to solve an issue.  
• That the socialist agenda fails along with their policies and systems which seem to be connected to a covenant of death is cut off.
• That doctors would be free to serve in their calling have their expertise honored and their authority restored.

Business Sphere
Observation - Fear and government's interference with this sphere continues to cause inflation and economic hardship.   Let us pray, proclaim and declare:

• God's people would remember to worship God with their giving (tithes/offerings) and that trust in God's faithful covenant keeping word would override their fear of lack.  Pray they'd be like Isaac who sowed in the year of famine and reaped a hundred-fold (Gen 26:12). 
• Blessings and restitution over every business owner who suffers unjustly due to this current administration. 
• Every freedom and truth loving business is vindicated. 
• That the judgment of God would usher in unprecedented prosperity to those who took righteous stands.
• That the righteous would prepare for a wealth transfer.  
• That kingdom minded businesses would have all the resources necessary to effect our Father's will in their jurisdiction to transform their city and this state.

Government Sphere
Observation - Election integrity is a huge issue.  The Democrats in Olympia have a super majority and have sought to ram through more and higher taxes even with a surplus, continue to ram their radical agenda and policies into every segment of society and the Governor still does not want to loosen his grip on the emergency powers act he has abused for almost 2 years now.  Let us pray and proclaim:

• Recently believers played a huge role in launching 11 initiatives to address unjust laws, overreach and election integrity.  Pray that people awake, and God's will and way is done in and through Lets Go Washington. 
  • Pray that churches and believers would collaborate together to pray and put their faith in action too. 
• Pray for the Research Mom and other members of this council involved in election integrity in Washington.  
• It has been reported by political insiders that the Left (Democrats & RINOs) realizes they are going to lose in the next election.  Pray each office is filled with men and women of character with a Biblical worldview who will do what is right and not compromise their convictions when they get in office.  
• Lamentations 3:55 But I called on your name, LORD, from deep within the pit.  You heard me when I cried, “Listen to my pleading! Hear my cry for help!” Yes, you came when I called; you told me, “Do not fear.” Lord, you have come to my defense; you have redeemed my life. You have seen the wrong they have done to me, LORD. Be my judge, and prove me right. You have seen the vengeful plots my enemies have laid against me. LORD, you have heard the vile names they call me. You know all about the plans they have made. My enemies whisper and mutter as they plot against me all day long. Look at them! Whether they sit or stand, I am the object of their mocking songs. Pay them back, LORD, for all the evil they have done. Give them hard and stubborn hearts, and then let your curse fall on them!  Chase them down in your anger, destroying them beneath the LORD’s heavens.
• 1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
• Those writing the decision regarding Roe V Wade do God's will and that they would not be swayed nor intimidated by the Left's evil attacks and intimidation. 

Amy a member of our council added:
The Washington State primary election is coming soon and is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2022. 

• The next key day is Tuesday, November 8, for the mid-term general election across the U. S. and in Washington state. 
• Some key conservative candidates that we are aware of running in the primary are listed below. Pray for them.

Current background in the U. S. CONGRESS: 

• A total of 469 seats are up for election on November 8, 2022 in the U.S. Congress:34  Senate seats (one of these Senate seats is from Washington state) and all 435 House seats.

 

•  The U. S. Senate currently has 50 Republicans, 48 Democrats and 2 Independents.  (Pray for a radical increase in this margin.)

 

• The U. S. House of Representatives has 220 Democrats, 208 Republicans, and 7 vacancies.  (Pray for a radical switch in dominance.)

 
Media Sphere
Observation:  Last month we shared, "Some of our prayers are being answered with the release of 2000 Mules.   This addresses the corruption that has been introduced to our political process. 
 ​
Let us pray and proclaim:

• 2000 Mules reaches every eye and ear God intended this work to reach and that their conscience would require a righteous response as lawmakers and citizens awake to the corruption in our electoral process. 
• The truth overcomes the lies and members who traffic in, create and multiply lies are exposed and removed, and they are replaced with those who love truth and honest journalism. 
• God's people will increase in discernment regarding the truth.  Declare wisdom and discernment is rising.  Conviction is returning.  The ability to discern between truth and lies grows.
• ​Regarding lawlessness, lying, and deception, organizations such as civil government, scientists, the CDC, WHO, the UN, social media, dictionary services have frequently changed their definitions, laws and policies overtime which is a form of lawless deception, and they seek to use media to propagate.  Pray their strategy backfires and all things done is secret is exposed and shouted from the house tops such as the CDC recently, due to COVID changed their guidance about a child's development.  Due to the masks, they've now said it is normal for a child to smile 6 months later that was previously established. 
• That Christian media improves in excellence and that the false is also exposed and removed here and replaced with men and women of skill with integrity.  Declare a return of the fear of the Lord. 
• That we’d see more ministers and ministries like the Passian Outreach Center fulfill their call to engage the youth through media with effective, powerful impact.
